are you saying youve never been to your local hunt open day show to show support? , or a country game fair? I was at the welsh game fair, show my face at a hunt show run by a friend,but do i watch the judging. maybe your in the beer tent, just like us all :alcoholic: Telling everyone how many rabbits my dog has caught,and how HARD it,and my self are!

he gets worked 3-5 times a week and does 45mins trotting on the road eveyday and his feet hold well The key to whippets in my opion is plenty of road work to keep there nails down.

Mine run through,never had a problem,i always stop when a dogs had enough in season or not.Its not a track were a split second counts.My dogs certanly wouldn`t thank me for going from fit to sitting at home.Dos any wild dog stop hunting because its in season.Each to there own i guess.

Rope for me,and a coller no wider than half inch,the dog needs to be able to move its neck,in alsorts of ways while trying to catch agile prey. The big collers you see now must restrict its movement.

got plenty 'a' pigeons man beside's it's sold and for a lot more than you'l get for that pigeon If you change your mind,give me a shout,i will even throw in a magpie if you deliver. weasel why you got a stoat in your avatar mine 's better than your's Well noticed,couldnt find a good picture of a weasel,your birds are better, do you have any sparrowharks?

It must hurt like hell though for the antis,to come on the site and see that life go`s on, as do`s death,animals will always need killing.Man has always been a predator and always will.The world is never going to go vegatarian,cows, pigs,sheep are killed in there millions every year.Foxs, hares,deers,are still killed lawfully,and all they can do is log on and hope some one has been stupid enough to admit doing something illegal.Good morning antis,Have to go now my bacon sandwich is ready.

road work dos help but if a dog has bad feet it wont turn them into good feet.Making sure the parents have good feet is important.Out of interest what cross is your dog?

Dont think theres a lurcher man around likes seeing that,but the fact remains if they came of one farm they were pests.Even before the ban i know places they would rather shoot or even gas pests, than let on a lurcher.No point crying over it just go and find some were you can work your dog.As for the whole "the picture will up set the antis" They always said animals should be shot not run down by "nasty dogs" let the f***ers see,just how devasting the gun is.

bull x's aren't bred for speed are they................... Or brains bull terriers are one of the cleverest dogs out there, studys have shown it? maybe some brain dead people own them tho, but the dog is a differnt story what studys? i would of thought collie i would of thought perhaps alsation Iwould have thought "LASSIE"

If you can wrap a layer of copper wire(electrical) around the trough the slugs will not cross it. Yes they will still cross it! Thats an old wives tale As has been said feed in morning and lift it when they finish then same at night. They will probably eat the slugs and other grubs during the day if theres no feed left for them. You could also try treating the ground around the run with nematodes which will eat the slugs Works for me.
