  13. I have both types on at the moment,and much prefare to watch the speedster Its the do or die ones,that learn a bit of self control that are the special dogs,for me any way.
  14. I stopped eating the mushroom soup before lamping,I got a right fright when those elephants wearing super man out fits charged.
  15. Wolf`s hunt using numbers,even then they spend a long time searching,for sick or weak individuals in a heard,then they keep pushing the heard until there intended victim,gets separated or gives up.Not much good as a hunting dog.

I am a betting man,but i wouldn't bet yours will lack a gear either .But the one i know dos get straight lined,if she misses her first strike,although her catch rate is still good,she has her angles and strike to a T,Also herding her rabbits,working more like a collie cross i suppose.There again she was the stockiest bitch of the litter,there were racier.The fact remains though she dos lack a gear,and while she still gets the job done,When a rabbit is 200 yards out it seems,such a waste of energy to have to run it back to the hedge before making her catch.Any way just saying it how it is,wasn

Thank you: its a shame I'll never breed from her, but she's too mad for her own good and gets laid up too often: I lost her half sister out coursing, broke her back on a big dyke: only the good die young, but I'm getting too old to accept seeing my dogs kill themselves too often: life seems more precious as my age increases! In my eyes if a dog not prepared to get hurt catching its quarry,its not that good,but yes i get were your coming from,the airdale cross should suit though,they seem tough,if you dont mind seeing them being straight lined to the hedge.
  19. You lot must lamp some very big fields,to need lamps like that. Then people wonder why there quarry is so lamp shy.

  21. i need to measure her mate, she's roughly between 15-19" tts , mother was between 20-25tts and the father i think was around the same. You add the dams height to the sires height,so around 50inchs,or 12.3hands high :crazy:
  22. I have had my lazerlite 15 years or more,dropped it a few times and changed the bulb,changed the coiled lead once a couple of years ago.A good lamp.
