I get what you're saying but when the dog's all muddy and he's heading over to someone out walking with jumping up at them in mind I don't have much choice but to call his name Teach him not to jump up,or i know its embarrsing just let him get on with it, if it really bothers you advoid places times were you would meet other people.I remember a long time ago walking the dog in a park, a mother and two young kids feeding a squirrel it was almost eating out of there hands,next thing dog was in the picture quick shake straight back,perfect retrieve,very embarrising but the dog still got its p

At that age he is going to get excited,and want to play.Let him go and dont call him untill you see he`s bored or all ready looking for you,Then instead of him not coming and you calling, In his mind you call he comes back gets a pat.No point trying to tell a dog to do somthing its not going to do your just training it to ignore you.
  16. Have a look at the fud decoys, havnt tried them my self yet but they look good,There was a topic on here last week,some one put up pictures of pigeons,it was hard to tell the birds from the decoys.
