  1. Nice video jon and a few nice bucks on the ground do you think any will make medal grade .Don't know if this will be added struggling with my file size any way this lad is on my ground and is now 4 years and will be left a further 2 before he is up for a selected cull already at 10 inch ish
  2. John i think the reason is any one can shoot a good six pointer and most will shoot a trophy in the life but the freaks are unique. I have shot two medals this year so far and haven't even got them measured but i would be please with a head that was different we don't get many real freaks heads were i am .
  3. 7 OR 8 WITH A 42 OR ABOVE OBJECTIVE ARE WHAT YOU WANT THE 10 TIMES ARE OK FOR TH OLDER CHAPS THAT SIT AROUND ALL DAY HIGH SEATS AND GENTLE WALKS ALONG A HEDGE.
  4. Got to agree with Jon VMAX things have changed it is not the person now put the collage. Look for your nearest that dose DMQ and ask to get brief no more who you know crap.
  5. And quite rightly so. I also wounder what will happen to the DMQ up north when the new cert of Lantra is made the accepted qualification
  6. If we are going to treat all animals equal then i need a f*****g big Fen Trap for my deer and a nice snare would look good round its neck and of coarse a good stick to beat it to death as it come out of cover being chased by a plummer terrier or is it the other way round
  7. Most has been said but for me it is unload rifle bolt out and rifle slung over my back go to the deer and make sure it is dead most times it is still alive just a little bit this would let you drag it back to your side of the fence and humanely dispatch it with the knife you left on your side of the fence have you broke the law no . But try and get an agreement with your nabour on most of my ground it is fine and the FC is ok keep the number in your pocket if its early then you can say that you thought that the phone call would have gone in your favour. LOTS OF THINGS CAN BE DONE TO KEEP IT SE

  12. Well done mate and next time only tell the other chap after you have been.
  13. Same here the weather is crap might delay the start of the season that would suit me 2 inch of wet snow.
  14. [i WILL BE OUT ON THE THIRD I CAN JUST ABOUT WAIT THE THREE DAYS. WHILE I DO TAKE A FEW PEOPLE OUT THE FIRST BUCK OF THE SEASON IS MY OWN.
  15. Sad but true seems that deer will be the next hot topic ith regards RTA and over population. I am sure the scottish government have got enough money to give to the fc and the dcs so that they can employ contractors at very high prices.
  16. Your petition should have went to holyrood Night Hunter but its nice to see people trying .What i might suggest is for your selves in Fife and other areas to form your selves into a Deer Group as the new legislation states that the managing of deer will be done by localised groups ,BUT WERE THERE ARE NONE A PANNEL SET UP BY THE DCS WILL DECIDE this is to be time limited. But the the DCS have now been in there flag ship (mugdock park) area for 5 years and have no sign of leaving again at cost to the tax payer
  17. Ours are still in velvet hopefully still growing lol
