So the answer in no unless the question finishes exactly as is in Gareth's post. But for me any releases should be questioned if any Deer are found injured they should be culled on the spot we have to many governments are paying millions and millions to kill as many as they can and the animal sanctuaries are trying to fix injured one up what a country we live in .Get them down and in the freezer.

permit from natural England This is the reason that the Animal welfare people get away with letting animals go but for us the public there is no chance we can let anything go in the wild.Natural England will crawl all over you.
-
You cant release any none native species back into wild I don't know how the RSPCA get away with it.

why do deer stalkers charge so much
wireviz replied to wboulter's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
I charge 60 pounds per stalk that is for on average 3 - 4 hours Now i get paid for my own job 20 per hour i just like getting out for deer and i am good at it. -
Try here www.deer-stalking.com there are a few chaps on there that only charge 50 -60 for a stalk i am sure that SAS Is quite expensive
-
It would help if you could say what area you are from most AW,s Don't charge for the stalk and will only want there expenses. Make sure you have a good area to go to and have a real chance at seeing and shooting a deer. Moat aw,s don't like to do all three stalks so it might be an idea to find a couple.

advice on new ground - how to manage all pests inc deer
wireviz replied to langouroux's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
Sorry mate if i sounded to harsh but what i was trying to say was really dose it matter if you upset the Deer. You post said that the farmer wanted them controlled so if you get the chance to up set the deer all the better just make sure you fill your freezer. You can leave the deer managment and stalking once the farmer is happy with the deer levels. (your post line.the farmer wants all pests managed including the deer ) -
advice on new ground - how to manage all pests inc deer
wireviz replied to langouroux's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
The foxes at this time of year are well in to mating and will be establishing territories rabbits if in any number at all must be controlled by all methods. If i had got ground of a farmer and he wanted the vermin controlled and a few deer shot i would make sure that i done the job .I Certainly would not worry about a few deer moving away for a few weeks. So my advice to you is get off the net and get on the ground remove everything that has been requested because if you don't there will be lads that will and they will pay for it also. -
Got to agree with mark get your cull done and leave the rest. I have been taking out a few dependants that should ease the situation but we have had no let up now since the 17th December and the Deer are Hungary the last doe kid i shot was in a bad way and i am sure would not have made it through the rest of the winter. As our normal bad spell is feb-early march. The last real bad spell some of you wont remember it was 32 years back and i had just started stalking the deer for four years after were thin on the ground. So while they are easy to shoot when they are so hungry you can only shoot t

Looking for a good DSC - Level 1 SCOTLAND prefered

http://www.dcs.gov.uk/Contacts/default.aspx Look at the stirling office and i am afraid times change and when you add a shit load of cash then opinions can be put on hold. Ronnie Rose is now part of the gravy train that is the DCS . You can feed that train and ride it but you will never be part of the set up. -

John Ronnie dose not have an agenda at all he clearly admits to makeING cash from the laws that will come out he is a nice man (BUT I AM PART OF DCS HIS WORDS) and i got on with him great but this legislation will make some people very rich and again it will not be the working man. PS it is ninety pounds to register for lev 2 th stalks you pay for your self make sure you get it done quick as it will in my opinion cost around 5000 pounds after the legislation is put through that's double what it is now...I will also say the figure of 2500 was given to me by R ROSE -

Alex cannot do your lev one any more but will prob help with your lev two. For a collage that will give you the full support its got to be Barony in the borders. http://www.barony.ac.uk/Default.aspx?pid=1 Ask for Rachael -
No problem Scotrat WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE AND ALL THAT AND I HOPE EVERY ONE GETS A GOOD NUMBER OF DEER THIS NEWYEAR KEEP THE FREEZERS FULL.

The lease holder needs to be qualified to DMQ lev 2 or similar and the members need to be Lev one DMQ or similar and working towards lev 2. They are different prices depending on the deer shot off the ground and most will only allow a maximum of six rifles. The rules and regulation are set by the FC but the lease holder can add his own rules. have a good one ps iam an AW if anyone fancy getting to that ultimate goal of LEV 2
-
I received through the post to day a DVD /CD ROM of the new lands available for lease most are down in the borders area and might be of interest to people from England if you didn't get a cd through the post contact .
