  1. Let's get this into perspective the OP is about somone being penalised for not controlling an aggressive dog. The law is to stop f*cking idiots who use dogs as some sort of a dick extention, who have no concern for "little Tyson" other than to make sure he has a large studded collar so he can parade this unfortunate animal slavering ang pulling at the lead for all it's worth as the poor dog has known nothing but getting slap since being a pup. I own a dog and even if somone broke into my house it's MY job to protect MY family I would not and do not expect my dog to do this and nor would he
  2. but its never a case of some one breaking into your house though is it .its always little kids and women .getting killed and torn apart by illegal type dogs owned by chavs thats running wild in the back yard knee deep in dog shit whilst hes in bed f****d up from the night before .you never hear of a lurcher or a spaniel killing any one .its always the same types with the same useless twats for owners .these people shouldnt be allowed one dog never mind three or four aggressive pit type and similar crosses living in the house with children having to compete for space and pecking order with them
  3. "waiting for the gob shite rifle man to turn up, who promised to be there when ever he called, and cant make it for another week, and even then he cant stay all night,I will tell you this, you watch the farmer welcome the terrier man with open arms", That's a bit of a statement isn't it? So here we go again only dog men are the true hunters and rifle men are just part timers...
  4. I really fail to understand the view of some dog men that the hunting of fox and hare is the sole ownership of the lurched/terrier men. You hardly ever see a rifleman say quarry shouldn't be hunted with dogs but it seems to be a common opinion from other quarters. As long as the animal has minimal suffering and is shown respect surely that is what matters the most. In my opinion of the two, a fox shot with a rifle knows nothing about its demise and I feel is the cleanest method of fox control.
  5. What about 3pm when a cub scout or girl guide comes knocking to sell some buns or something should the dog be trained to tear into any stranger that aprroaches the house? No dog should be trained to be indescrimatnatley aggressive, defensive yes but too many think a dog attacking somone is part of dog ownership if somone else oversteps the mark. In my opinion and it s only my opinion if you own a dog no matter a breed it should be under control whether in the home or not.
  6. Eh why did you answer your own question?
  7. Well she's the one thats got to live with herself, making a career out of her sons death is not something I could live with. All this campaigning to find the truth and justice, yes I would want the same to find my sons killers but the evidence was just not there until the system chipped away until they could make it fit the crime to jail the ones suspected of his killing. Let me be clear if they are guilty then they deserve to be in the nick but how many trials were they acquitted before being jailed. What will she contribute in the house of lords?
  8. Ah Rimmer I'm so glad you have enlightened me with your wisdom, now you have said it can't be done done I have no choice but to stop doing it immediately. I will from this point onwards resort to barn doors as targets. Is that OK or do you need to ask somone else for advice.
  9. Ha ha ha are you for real?I head shoot rabbits regularly up to 90 yards longest being 127yards with my 10/22. I can assure you I'm no Rambo nor do I have any want to be. I concede if I was punching paper targets it's not as accurate as my mates anchutz, but I'm not I'm shooting vermin and it makes a very good job of it. P.S last time I checked 5 million of these rifles have been sold maybe they have got something right Now i was reading some old posts on here a few days ago and i saw a thread that had a guy called Duncan and he says that shooting rabbits at that sort of range is impossib

  11. IMO the simple answer is the one that fits you the best I found berrettas suit me and I shoot really well with them, the best advice would be to go to a shop with a wide selection and choose the gun that not only meets your budget but fits you properly I've out shot people many times with a £200 larouna (my first gun) where they have had Brownings Berrettas at £2-3K Spend £10k on a Boss but if it doesn't fit you it's no use ATB
  12. Congratulations to you both she looks a little cracker. Really great news, best of luck to you both and the new arrival..,

They've both retired and are clearly immune to its noise.

  17. All the people who voted labour in the last goverment this was the result, they openly admit to opening the doors to our country. They have done more damage to this country then can be imagined. Cameron hasn't a chance with his hands tied with the lib dems.
  18. If you find out let me know, it's like some secret code all this

  20. The longest range sniper kill was made by a Brit. Craig Harrison shot not 1 but 2 Taliban at a distance of 1.54 miles.
  21. As the saying goes "The bitter taste of poor quality remains much longer after the sweet taste of a bargin has disappeared" Each to their own but as I've said before I wouldn't touch one. My mate owned one and had nothing but miss fires and jamming with it, let me tell you its no fun when your on the foreshore and you are lucky to get one or two shots at the most, never mind for one of those shots to just go click when you pull the trigger. Benelli, Berretta, Winchester every time
  22. I have exactly the same situation controlling rabbits on three livery stable farms that are joined. I turn up and bag a couple nothing too excessive they are happy cause they know I'm doing it. They have been approached at least half a dozen times over the last 5 years people asking for permission but I must be doing something right as they always get turned down. My advice would be to keep showing your face and pop a couple so they can see you doing a job,
  23. Back in the days of punk there was a band called "Exploited" - their 'best-known' song was called "Maggie,Maggie,Maggie-you f***ing c**t!" to give you an idea of their musical abilities. Any way, a mate of mine at the time (a right head-banger!) decided to tattoo "Exploited" across his forehead, as a statement both of the band and how he perceived his place in society. I was way ahead of him, and advised him not to tattoo it the wrong way round in the mirror - believe me, he was mental enough! So the next time I see him the job is completed....BUT.....he has done it in capital letters and the
