    Depends on what you licence says, if I assume you are talking fire arm not shotgun, your cert will either be fully open which means you can shoot the rifle on land land where the owner has given you permission to shoot If your licence isn't opened then you will need to ensure the ground is passed for the calibre of rifle you intend to use, if it isn't you will need get the land passed by the FEO before shooting there.     But wouldn't this be better, if children were at school more then less paid for child minding would be needed? I agree with you Malt kids need to be kids, but here's an idea what about normal curriculum from 9am - 3pm as usual and then 3pm to 5pm learning life skills, as been said older kids learning about money mortgages etc, younger kids learn about sports, wild life, how to build a camp fire, cooking, anything that is not formal education?

    As said by CC we can complain and disagree all we like at the end of the day it is up to your local firearms dept to remove this condition and they won't until they are satisfied you have met their criteria. I'm a member of BASC and have been so for 15 years and however much I admire and support them they are toothless when it comes to issues of dealing with the Police. Yes they liaise and work closely with ACPO but as already stated home office guidance is just that guidance, that is why some areas allow .22rf for fox and others don't.     To be fair he sounds a right gimp.........But one thing that i have always wondered about is if these so called Terrorists are so hell bent on killing as much people as possible then why dont they hit someplace where theres a mass gathering.     I reiterate my statement earlier I will NOT pay anyone to pull the trigger of my rifle, I have not gone out to look at blue bells and butter cups I have gone out with the sole purpose of shooting a deer. The obvious outcome of this quest with any luck will be for me to fire my rifle so I am perplexed with the notion of paying an additional fee for somthing I had intended to do all along. All the points listed above would be the reason a person would pay for an accompanied stalk with a professional, these points have no connection at all with justification to pay for a shot fee.
