  1. For me Nikon Prostaff 3-9 x 50 can't be beaten for quality and value for money, seriously check these scopes out I have a Scmidt and bender on my 6.5 and I struggle to see the difference.

  3. I've got a 10/22 and really like it (don't be put off by people who have ever owned one) CZ are a good cheap rifle I have one in 17 HMR and it's great quality for the money. £300 will get you a decent rifle no problems. Good luck

  8. in your area ? i live in yorkshire ....and have fox on .17 ..........since renewing my licence it has come back with the following ......under all calibers it says...........any lawful quarry suitable for that caliber..........seems the police have put the onus on the shooter what is suitable.......the .17 is not illegal on fox......but wether its suitable or not is your choice under the circumstances when shooting I can assure you South Yorkshire do not permit the use of .22rf or .17HMR for fox.I would also say getting a centrefire .243 on a first application without conditions (mentor claus

To be honest it's all down to the layout of the land, if the FAO accepts it is safe to shoot a .22 rim fire with plenty of backstops then they wil pass it however 7 acres does seem a little small.
