  1. Watched it now and its quite good, done in a documentary style and although fiction could quite easily be believed. Apparently the ALF got major critisim following the movie from people who thought it was a true story

  6. A few more people removed from the gene pool.....for your pleasure (22 Feb 2009, Devon, UK) Location: A seaside town, a coastal trail. Fencing was in place to protect people from falling off the path, but this protective barrier was no match for the allure of a feather blown by the breeze. . .just out of reach. A woman in her forties climbed that fence and chased the elusive feather right off a seaside cliff. There was no cure for what ailed her--she died of head injuries the following day. The following mind-boggling attempt at a crime spree appeared to be the robber's first,
  7. It looks to me like the best part of you ran down the crack of your mama's ass and ended up as a brown stain on the mattress. Good phrase, sure ive seen it somewhere before
  8. Was discussing this today at work, for those that dont know the Darwin awards are the natural thinning out of the population caused by peoples own stupidity here are a few 27 February 2012, North Carolina) "It was just a freak incident," said an investigator, that caused the death of 43-year-old Gary Allen Banning. Gary was at a friend's apartment when he spotted a salsa jar containing a mystery fluid. Thinking that it was an alcoholic beverage, he helped himself to a sizeable swig of gasoline! Naturally enough, he immediately spit out the offending liquid onto his clothes. Then,
  9. Ive heard on the news, with the un rest of the situation currently occurring in North Korea the French have made the first strike and unconditionally surrendered
  10. Has this topic not been done to death now
  11. Thing is they were saying about £30K for a wedding and the brides fathers pays, how the f*ck does he afford it with 4 daughters? They get married at between 16-19 so they guy has to find £120K in the space of 5 years when they reach the age. How does he raise £120K? Knocking on doors offering jet washes and selling Tarmac won't raise that type of money as it was portrayed, didn't really explain this did it. Hats off to the guy in the helicopter though.
  12. I've been put off due to reviews saying it was a crap film, even IMDb only rates it 3.8/10 I will give it a watch now it's been recommended.
  13. Didn't know him personally but I liked to read his posts and he made me laugh quite a few times so I raise a glass on his birthday
  14. So let me get this right......she single handedly closed the mines, closed the shop yards, got rid of the car industry, liberated the banks so they eventually could land us in the economical melt down, decimated the fishing industry and increased poverty to name a few things I have read Is there anything else we can lay at her door like the creation of Jedwood or the fact it snowed at the end of March? She wasn't from a privellaged back ground she was just a grocers daughter from Grantham with a strong will to try and make this country better and stronger. Socialism does not work it r

At least somone will be in if he comes at 6.30pm
  17. Depends if your hiking and camping or going in the car, if hiking a foam roll up and sleeping bag is ideal because it's lightweight if you are driving the car to the site where your pitching your tent I'd use an inflatable mattress or fold up bed. Don't know if you have a Go Outdoors shop near you but they have some really good deals and a variety of beds etc. ATB

  19. Saw Brook fight Carson Jones last year, he's a good boxer should be a great fight
  20. Seems to me the labour conservative issue with our country is like a disfunctional family, youve got loads of kids with a mother (labour) who takes them on holiday, buy them treats new electronic gadgets, games TV's and the like but to do this she racks up loads of credit card bills and bank loans. The kids are happy then Dad (conservative) has to take over cause if not their going to get there house reposessed so he has to put a stop to all of these treats for a few years whilst he pays off all the debt. Eventually the kids get p*ssed off with dad cause hes no fun and they ask for mon to run
  21. Youve got to say one thing for her with all these varid comments she certainly wasnt dull Andy McNab in his book Immediate Action writes of Margaret Thatcher "She had met the demands during the Embassy siege, she had personally sent the team in to bring it to an end. She might as well have had a bed space down in Hereford - she always seemed to be there. I respected her no-nonsense approach, and she laughed at the jokes. She might have been the only one walking around with a handbag but she was as tough as any man when it came to the crunch. She was in the CQB (killing) house once whe
  22. Scargill what a clown, he wanted to be the man to bring down a govt single handed when all he succeeded in doing was causing misery for thousands. He's still at it now suing the union he was once president of as he expected them to provide him a house in London and a car for free of the rest of his life......... Just a small point also to those criticising thatcher did any of you or your parents buy their council house, mine did and it was the best thing they did.
