    Should be put up to 90mph most modern day cars have the stopping capabilities at 90 than the 1960's cars did at 70mph

    Hate to sound boring but random drugs testing it's a modern day occurrence, so if you want a job or to keep it the only way is to not take the drugs if they do random drugs testing. Let's face it would you want to be working next to someone operating heavy plant that's not 100%? Also if you lost your job due to a failed D/T what's the chances of getting another...? There isn't a way of beating it they can tell if you've had some in the last 28 days and the H&S guy told me they can tell if it was passive or not so the old "I went to a party and come to think of it there was a funny smell"

    6.5 x55 gives you 85 up to 160 grain bullets which will cover fox and deer (my choice). The .243 is a faster round but as has been claimed can cause some meat damage on deer. Why don't you consider replacing the .222 with the .243 and keep the .308 that way you have the range of bullet choices all the way through?

    Had the same dilemma a few months ago ended up with a SWB Pajero, well impressed with it, bit thirsty but you get plenty of vehicle for your money. The other alternative I would have had was a Isuzu Trooper but the Paj came up at a good price. To be honest it's been reliable and not needed a penny spending on it and I use it weekly a shooting wagon.

    I've got the 2.5 SWB dont worry about it, run it on veg oil £20.00 for 20 litres. Put a fivers worth of diesel in and away you go.

    I used to smoke it's now strange to see people crammed under a single umbrella in the piss*ng rain smoking a fag as quick as poss as there freezing their knackers off to think I used to do that. I do like to see a woman smoke a pink pipe though.

    Ferretmad your looking at buying a shotgun and already asking what carts to avoid to stop it from jamming, I think you may have answered your own question..... Me Im also a wild fowler and I don't get up a 3am drive over an hour in winter walk out on the foreshore and sit in some shitty creek with freezing cold water up to my nuts waiting for that single duck or goose to fly over for my shotgun to not recycle or worse still just go "click" which happened to a mate of mine who bought a hatstand.     Yes the Vulcan was a tremendous aircraft,I remember the ground shaking at RAF Finningly (now Doncaster airport) airshow when three of them flew over the crowd and then climbed almost vertically years ago! I saw the Vulcan fly about 5 weeks ago at Waddington airshow still is a truly beautiful aircraft. The flight deck on them is tiny, it was originally designed as a single seater bomber but they decided to stick a co-pilots seat in without widening the cockpit if you ever get a chance to see a photo have a look I certainly wouldn't have wanted to spend 8 hours in that.     Yes mate providing you have the landowners permission and you consider it safe to do so you can use the rim fire anywhere

    It will say on your firearms ticket if its open something like "has the use of .22 rim fire and sound moderator for vermin and ground game over which the holder has lawful authority to shoot" If it's not open there will be a reference to "over land deemed suitable by the chief police officer" or something like that.
