    There was a shoot on hulton park estate until the 90's. A tiny estate surrounded by townies and mad heads. I would love to speak to someone who was involved as I drive past regular. I did a pest job in the old house, big walk in gun room and even a beaters room with melted cartridges in the fireplace but totally out of place in its location

    It saddens me that my lad doesn't have a Lancashire accent. They are all talking with a gay American twang because they watch so much YouTube and tiktok. Only 20 years ago you could tell which village someone came from round here because of the accent. Scouse accents are horrendous. Fit bird...then she opens her mouth and she's instantly a pig.     Now I have caught thousands of squirrels both in woodlands and lofts, even miles from the nearest tree up on a grouse moor. But after finding my way around the new estate I'm beginning to think I'm going to have to run a proper squirrel trapping campaign ASAP. Taking stock of the feeders and every single one has had the lids and springs chewed out by squirrels. I've just set a camera on a small barrel hopper and got 250 photo's of squirrels. Six at a time.     Panic panic panic. There's plenty work about. Shops full of food. Poor people dying from obesity.     My first accountant was fantastic. A little old Jewish bloke. Sat in a broom cupboard doing tax returns and chain smoking cigars, he hated anyone paying tax. He eventually died of lung cancer. He always told me not to pay invoices....always wait for the reminder and pay then. That was the only thing I didn't take his advice on....I always pay invoices as soon as they arrive. That is until I heard he was ill, I didn't pay his invoice and I waited for the reminder that never came, in fairness I sent my condolences at his funeral. I like to think he was smiling as he looked down on me....i
