I think if he mentions money he wont get much of a reply. Keeness to work with hounds and he could have the time of his life. Personal experience

I should think if your keen and interested plus local then you should have no probs at all and if you have family who are hunt terriermen it will be a breeze, but I dont think you stand a chance of being paid.

Your mates a dick, shouldnt be breeding more dogs if he hasnt got room for ones he's got. Keep him away from all dogs not just working ones. -
The problem with bloodhounds is they are too deep scenting. They can hunt clean boot up to 24 hours after man has gone. Foxhounds were developed to kill foxes and show entertainment at the same time. Thee would be no point hunting a line today of a fox who was there yesterday and is long gone now. Also they can be known to hunt anything. Great voice though. Good Hunting Johnny Yes i understand that, I just wondered why there is not more evidence of bloodhound blood being used more often, maybe in bad scenting countries?

Iv always been under the impression that settled weather improves scent. If its dry for a while then hounds can settle to it and start to hunt better yet when its suddenly hot and dry like later on a cubbing morn then they begin to struggle. Iv seen hounds hunt abroad in dryness and heat that would kill scent here but there hounds hunt on stopped eventually by what im convinced was the heat getting to the hounds before it got to the scent. Iv read some incredable stories about blood hounds trailing men through some unbelievable conditions and for a massive distance. Iv always wondered why

Flatpack are made in skipton. But they are more like talpex than normal scissors, dont know if thats ok for you. There seems to be more mole trappers than moles yhat area!!

I always thought the 'leave hounds at home on a windy day' saying came from the it being so much harder to keep hounds together and keeping in touch with hounds yourself due to it being more difficult for hounds to hear each other and you to hear them. I cant see wind affecting sent as much as temp and pressure.

The question about hunting endangered animals was a bit open ended. I would but only if my fee's were used to help the species as a whole.

Sorry pal, the general pest control. Worried it will be a waste of money doing modules im already familiar with but maybe worth getting the paper to prove it!

Iv been brought up doing pest control so iv always thought myself above paying to do a course, silly I know but at some point you have got to bite the bullet. Iv anyone has any experience with this course id be interested to hear. http://www.bpca.org.uk/training.html

We put £750 each in and release 1000 pheasants and 350 duck. We have 10 guns and prob average 40 birds but also have a lot of walk abouts with a couple of guns for 6 or so birds plus duck flighting and roost shooting. We do all the work our selves and any beaters come for free but are allowed to shoot if a gun fails to show up. Most of our beaters are trying to get into the syndicate and come to keep their face in. We are always looking at new ways to do things and might try five standing guns and five beating as a beat one stand one system next year. We have massive amounts of land and our b

Quite often you can smell fox but hounds wouldnt touch it.

As far as I known there is practically nowhere in England that has free public foreshore shooting. There maybe some public foreshore but going there with a shotgun is in practice a different matter. There are some places where it is more possible in scotland but the local knowledge of how and when to shoot not only successfully but in saftey is often difficult to access. Wildfowling has in past decades been often abused and any local access to free fowling is often closely gaurded. The best way is to simply join a club, you sound like you dont think it will be worth joining for just a coup

Problem is its so difficult to take someone on, if we have a bit of extra work then to take someone off benefits is a right ball ache. First they stop getting council tax and houseing payed for and when work runs out they have a gap before they start getting benefits again and a lot of people with responibilites cant take that risk. We have just found it a complete waste of time trying to take someone on legit when we only have temp work. I can see why people get agency staff. Saying that I'm living week to week at the mo, the thought of being un-employed scares me to death, if fuel goes u

What sort of price does he ask for those floats? bet they arnt cheap. I would love some of those perch bobbers. I would think a row of those in an old float box would be a good investment, something to put away for the grandkids.

Seriously you know enough people to get sorted with the details, its not the secret service, everyones just as friendly even tho times have changed.
-
You will have no probs at all then. Give the master Mr A.R a call and if your family hunt with rockwood and you know John it will all be no problem . The subs for the year are less than the cap at most other packs so its worth being a member even if your worried about not getting your moneys worth!
-
If you used to be a member then it shouldnt be a problem to give the secretery a call and pay your subs again, if they dont have a record of you and the master dosnt remember you then a simple referance from one of the mounted packs you followed will be all thats needed. Yes they still trail hunt and exercise in the areas you mentioned now and again. Who's country were you in down south?
