  1. What do you expect buying stuff off a couple of dodgy pie eaters
  2. I would never again go within reach of a spanish fighting bull. I have killed two young animals behind closed doors on a ranch and have been many times in the ring with young cows during the time they are tested for bravery and breeding selection in a mini/mock bull fight. I have done enough to know I will never have the bravery or skills to handle anything bigger and painful incidents to know not to mess even with the small ones. I would love to run with bulls again but dont think I would even risk that anymore after the injuries I have seen.
  3. No, its not a daft question at all. He is a Bull Dido, you are anthropomorphising! he is incapable of "thinking" in the manner you describe. He is bred solely for public mutilation and killing, nothing more. Very very rare will a Bull live, in fact Id go as far as to say hardly ever. The stud Bulls would NEED to be able to lift their heads to mate, the ones that enter that ring have their muscles cut, severed, beyond repair, its the ONLY way a Matador can kill him without risking serious injury to himself, how else do you think he will be able to stab him at the base of his neck if
  4. My favourite place on earth. Maybe dont take the mrs unless you can afford a nice hotel. Sorry who said it was a sport, not me. I know its a daft question but which animal would you rather be..... A bull.... You spend two years out on the range with miles of open range with rivers to wallow in and trees to shelter under. At 2 years old you are taken in to a small ring on the range and faced by a man on a horse, you charge and recieve a pic in you thick shoulder muscle. The gate to the range is thrown open and you can choose the combat and to charge again even tho you know you wi
  5. The vids on this thread arnt very good, try a bit of EL JULI, beutiful!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcEmA5sVLzQ hope it works!
  6. My first thought on seeing a bull fight was that it was cruel but it stirred up such strong emotions in me that I went to spain and took the time to study it. Since that time I have run with bulls, seen bulls on the ranches and have been in the ring with young fighting cows and have killed 2 2year old bulls. To be honest I can hardly be arsed to explain it here to such ignorant people but a few things I need to add..... The bull is at its most dangerous point as its killed, yes it has been tired out but it is still at its most able to kill a man or horse. When it first comes into the r
  7. The worst thing that could possibly happen is to get the vote and then loose it. There are bigger things for the country to think about at the mo. We have a man in charge who intends to over turn the ban, softly softly catchy monkey!!!!
  8. I think it was a good result for hunting. There are difficult times ahead and talking about hunting when there are much bigger issues coming to a head over the next 5, 10, 15 years. If a tory majority had got in and repealed the ban the hunting would be even more imprinted in peoples minds as an upperclass issue (how can the 'toffs' repeal hunting when wev no pesions) and we would only have had so many years before a really spitefull house of commons would have finished us for good. There are now many more pro hunting MPs in England at least and a good numer of Liberal MPs support a licencei
  9. Apparently he liked milky bars.
  10. Hav they got some good country?
  11. All false claims about pennine staff have now been dropped and no charges brought.
  12. The pack that was based on the ribble area stopped ages ago. I'm from chorley area and there are meets within easy range. I 'll give you some details when I'm at my computer tomorrow, on girlfriends iPod now and it's hard work typeing!
  13. Where is that B+T from mate? It looks like it has blood hound in it?
  14. Hunting mink is illegal. Packs are now hunting rats/exerciseing/trailhunting. The BCH are inviteing other packs again this season with a view to having their own hounds again next season.
  15. As far as I know there were other reasons than the ban that caused them to disband. But I believe the new pack has a massive country and a keen following, I hope to have a day with them this next season. You sometimes see the black and tan hounds as odd drafts at other packs. I believe some of the Dumfrieshire hounds that you are talking about went as drafts to ireland and some to france but I may be wrong. I think some are also used as out crosses in blood hound packs. They are reputed to have a grand cry.
  16. lol, iv really got to stop posting after 3 glasses of wine!
  17. Can someone please post a pic of a mole. I have a mole job on 2moz and I want to make sure I catch the right quarry. Also which rifle should I use to dispatch them in the trap?
  18. If you wait till young crows are out on the branches it defeats the object, they will have got to that age with bellies full of eggs and chicks!!!! You also lessen the chances of killing the parent birds which will simply nest again. Also there is a differece between crow and rooks! Best to use a 22-250 like a mate of mine does then eh Rooks and crows are all a bloody pest! How to tell the difference! If you see a rook on its own its a crow. If you see a lot of crows together they are rooks! I also bow to you superior knowledge ......Or you could simply le

  20. Spend as much time as you can from now onwards making a note of nests and nests being built and repaired, its easier when there are no leaves on the trees. You can ambush birds nest building just like you can with sitting crows. Get a friend to approach the nest with you, one of you hides while the other walks away. It can take upto 30mins for the crow to return. If your shooting nest builders leave the nest as another pair may start to use it later on. If the nest had a sitting bird on it give the nest one to destroy the eggs.
  21. If you pm your number i will txt you a pic. Not worked out how to post pics.
  22. When I saw your first topic/advert on THL I was quite dubious, like most people I guess, but you have answered all questions well and with patience. Your site looks good mate and if you get some newcomers into the sport then you deserve all the support and encouragement other sportsmen can give you. Good luck pal. ps. if you want to attract women and young people maybe get rid of the fluffy tame rabbit on your front page and replace it with a wild one!
