I'll second that!

Wow, what an experience it must have been to have hunted all those! In this country at this time however you would be looked upon as scum.

IMO any person wrongly accused of an offence is a victim of the original perpetrator as well as the legal system. The legal system gets it wrong from time to time, but what is the alternative, no legal system at all? PS. Blan, we already know your thoughts on this matter... There isn't any real alternative Malt. Life aint fair and sometimes the innocent suffer and often the guilty go free. If we had an infallable judicial system then I would 100% want immediate death penalty but we dont unfortunately and never will. As things stand I still would want the death penalty. My previous

No system will ever be perfect and there will always be cock ups where a not quite guilty person suffers but tbh if I find myself caught out by the system unjustly and was gonna spend 20...30 years or my life in a Cat A I think I would rather take a bullet. So imo I supprt a death penalty, perhaps 5 years suspended death penalty, 5 years in a Cat A then if no further evidence surfaces on ya knees and a .38 in the back of your head. Equally though I would be just as happy if paedos, murderers and rapists were left to rot in a high security prison. But again, what if you put a convincted rap

They wont have the free vote at the moment as they are guaranteed to lose it, there is a young conservative group (mainly women) who are against the repeal of the ban and are actively lobbying anyone who will listen, this lot of poor misguided souls along with the bleeding heart Lib Dems and the lefties out number the pro hunting types by about two to one Sometimes it is far better to let a sleeping dog lie The politicians might be devious buggers but Topper is right in what they said so lets not make out they said something they did'nt. Johns very right too, if they want hal

Truly Inspirational - save 5 lives in 5 minutes!
Born Hunter replied to huffhuff's topic in General Talk
I understand what you're saying and it's your decision and you should'nt feel guilty whatever you choose. i just thought the argument of possibly saving a paedo was a poor argument. "when someone gets a disease or has organ failure, it's nature that's condemning them, not people who don't donate organs. But I see what you're saying." Equally when a organ is used to save a paedo it's the surgeon/system that saved them not the corpse the donor organ came from. My statement still holds though. When you donate your organs after death they may be used to save the guilty and if you choose n -
Truly Inspirational - save 5 lives in 5 minutes!
Born Hunter replied to huffhuff's topic in General Talk
exactly! that's the main reason I'm struggling with the idea.....if gary glitter needed a kidney transplant tomorrow would they turn him down cos he's a paedo? no, someone who had the best intentions in the world when they signed up would have saved the life of the dirty scumbag without knowing it. Whats worse; saving the guilty or condemning the innocent? -
Last one looks like a fecking great pigeon!..............................???

It really make me laugh that just because people don't understand the science they dissmiss it at the ramblings of anorack clad lab dwellers. Some science is bullshit, some is fact, some is probable and some is a bit far fetched.

magnetic reversals have happend 171 times in the last 76 million years with 14 of those happening in the last 4.5 million years, whilst thay are definitely cyclic the reversals appear to vary in time, making the next one an uncertainty. there are symtoms that procede the flip such as abrubt changes in weather pattens and a rapid awakening of the plannets magnetic field. and yes you right the 2012 nutters love it because it fits in with the mayan calculations and alot of other religions also say that in 2012 there will be an awakening. not the end of the world   not as we know

It's a case of we arn't really sure! The last polar reversal was a long fecking time ago, and they seem to be pretty random when they do happen. The Earths magnetic field is induced by the flow of molten Iron within the Earth so it is believed that when the flow gets a bit messed up so does the magnetic field, but I think the physics is still a bit theoretical. We arn't even sure if this is gonna happen any time in the near future but the magnetic north pole has been shifting with an accelerating rate for a few decades now. It is not believed previous polar reversals caused extinctions and

Early humans evolved to live in extended family groups, developing into larger nomadic communities some individuals never leaving the small society. These communities would have been competing for the same resources other similar communities were and so conflict would naturally occur. A community of good warriors would outcompete one that was full of 'lovers', lol. This would give the species a naturally selected warrior like advantage due to only having to compete with our own kind. Think of human communities as blood lines competing against each other for resources and therefore survival

A .38 wouldnt be unjust! It makes me f*****g sick!

It's not too bad, because you hav'nt a choice but to do it ya kind get to enjoy it in a sad way, lol. Any derivation is basically just a puzzle that has to be solved using a few mathematical laws/techniques. It's a ball ache but if you understand the physics that the maths is explaining it becomes quite insightfull and you will end up using the mathematical laws to figure out the physics. If you genuinely have an interest pal, give it a go, dont let the maths put you off. There are physics degree courses than minimise the maths by concentrating more on experimental stuff I believe, physics and

I'm on the very edge of my limited knowledge with all this if I'm honest! My mate's wife is studying astrophysics to degree level, and because I show an interest in the subject & understand slightly more about what she's talking about than everybody else she talks to when we're all doing something together, she tends to open up to me as the drinks go down and I soon get into a conversation that starts to go right over my head! Kind of like this one! Fascinating subject and one I wish I could seriously devote the time to learn. Very envious of her! I did straight physics but a

That's kind of the point I was trying to make! It always pays to keep an open mind. If we close our minds to any ideology or start thinking we know all there is to know, we'll all be the poorer for it. I think we should always strive to question the known as well as questioning the unknown. Nothing should ever be 'gospel', untouchable from discussion or debate.. Absolutely, it's a very poor scientist that believes he knows everything or assumes that his theories are unquestionable. If we discovered a planet where apples dont fall to the ground then the whole of classical physics will

Also I would like to add that particles with faster than light velocities had been theorised as a result of special relativity. The Tachyon I believe is such a theoretical particle, the theoretical physics of which I do'nt know I'm afraid. Also like to add that there is theoretical physics and then there is cold hard fact proven with experimental physics.

God has put these untruths to us to 'test' our faith. Science is really the devils work and anyone that embraces progress will face the wrath of the church. Dinosaurs were monsters killed in the great flood, the world is actually flat, the world is the center of God's universe (Galileo was a lying b*****d!) and the Big bang was a devine fart! Faith and religion are two very different things and should'nt be confused. Spot on. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be totally blinded by science either though. Look at what's happened with the neutrinos seeming to travel faster than
