They are mining it, did you it read that post that Paulus cross posted from Facebook? There is 300 years worth of the purest anthracite in the ground in my little area of Wales alone, and that's nothing compared to the S Wales valleys.. We were never a major coal producing region though, and our industry was gone long before Thatcher was even born. There are numerous theories as to why they closed the mines.. Brookie, just a few points; London is still the financial capital of the world. The UK was giving billions in foreign aid before Cammeron and will continue to when he's gone. She's not getting a state funeral and explicitly didn't want one. Thatcher wanted the pits closed, why? One thing I've never understood about all this, if there's so much coal why isn't someone mining it now?

Who sold off our national industry to foreign investors for a quick fix cash injection knowing the jobs would be disolved leaving thousands of her fellow countrymen out of work and after shutting down the unions unable to have a say about any of it. I'd like to say it's the first time I've been called big boy but well.............. that'd be a lie. I wasn't being sarcastic........... I was about to say the same scot, but lost my bottle for the sake of an easy life, lol. Also, do we treat rats (or any number of other animals) any differently? I mean we see dogs as pets, as companions, the muslims don't................. so that makes them bad or just different to us? It's a different culture, one I have no care for, but I just see this as possibly a bit hypocritical.

Im fine, it just took me by surprise How the f**k anyone lives with chronic pain i do not know! It is wrong, but it's who's responsible that's being twisted. We can say what we like about the Libyan people for whatever reasons but lets at least keep to the facts. And the facts in the original post have been brought into question. People's view's WILL be affected by whether or not it was Gadaffi's lot or the post civil war lot. That's all I'm saying. It completely changes the point of the original post.
