    Yeah I like that as well. The hippy Lundine comes across as a bit arrogant and full of himself sometimes but it's good to watch. Cody gets on my tits, but together it makes for an interesting dynamic. The only time i've thought WTF is when Dave rips his arm open on purpose to show you how to cauterize with black power!     On the subject of survival tv shows. Has anybody watched Dual Survival? Two yanks, ones a naturalist and ones ex forces. I like it, two very conflicting survivalists. Typical throw em into a bit of a shitter and film them over 2-3 days getting out of it. It's obviously all pre planned but nothing fixed or stupid like Grills can be and a bit more exciting than Ray Mears. Raymondo is still THE man though!

    What the hell can a 15 year old girl do to provoke such an aggressive response? It just beggars belief............ I'm reasonably non racist but I'm sure I'm not the only one that just knew it was an ethnic minority as soon as I read 'stabbed' and 'Birmingham'. Poor young girl.

    Well actually yes it is,(just kidding) I am afraid I have very little control over what my fellow sportsmen do,so yes I take your point,as I have stated I will always have a love for lurchers,(and have trained to a very high standard) and will perhaps have another one day,so I am not picking on lurchermen,however some of the critical comments do appear to have come from the artisan hunting camp,aimed at people who choose to follow a branch of field sports, using a firearm,at the risk of repeating myself,sour grapes,do seem to play a large part in what otherwise would be quite an interesting de

    Dan, quick simple question for you; do you accept hunting purely for sport? I follow your belief that if something is doing no harm, despite being on the general license, why kill it just for the crack. But at the same time I have no problem with somebody hunting purely for the love of the hunt, fox hounds, a lad mooching about with a couple terriers and lurchers for a fox, just stuff purely for sport. Then I kinda find it hard to say why a chap with a gun shouldn't be allowed to do the same? I guess the difference for me is a rifle can kill a hell of a lot more and far less discriminatly

    That's absolutely true. Kids that never say "f**k it, I'm not taking the wankers anymore" do carry it with them. The brother of an ex of mine killed himself because he could never managed to deal with it, he was a weak lad and as an adult just didn't have the strength to get through the usual shit life deals you, he drove head on into oncoming traffic after work one day............     Paulus, in my experience the majority of shooters leave pigeons and often rabbits in the field where they were shot.......... their excuse usually being "the foxes will eat them". I used to be the sole ferreter for a 800 acre shoot local to me, they wouldn't let anybody else on and would want me down there every weekend, It was hard going on my own but I did a good job and they recognised it. I looked forward to the end of the season when I could get into the main spinneys where big bags could be had real easily. Then one day I was walking the spinneys and getting feck all from my good spots..

    think the trick is thou is not to wait till their 14 / 15 you need to drum it into their heads at 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 Good parents do their very best to prepare their kids for life, but at some point it comes down to the kid him/herself to act for themselves. As I've said, bullying teaches you a hard lesson at a young age if nothing else.

    Aye, but taking shit everyday off of your 'mates' and wanting so bad to smash their heads through the nearest window but feeling absolutely powerless, just leaves a kid feeling like a weak coward. I grew up a learnt a lot about myself and what happened, what you say is true but try telling a 14/15 yr old lad that. It changed me for the better but some poor b*****ds never manage to deal with it.

    I got bullied through my school years, when I was younger I couldn't handle it and my parents found out and the school dealt with it. When I was older, 14, 15, 16, I just knuckled under as ya do but never had the courage to fight back, just f***ing gutless really. After my school years though it changed me, turn into a man or whatever but I wouldn't take the snidey cowardly shites then. Kids can be evil, but strangely I do believe being bullied teaches a kid a hard life lesson early on.
