It's just a confusing use of additions and subtraction for debt. Assume debt is subtraction and assets addition; £97(top) + £1(cash) (Assets) -£49(mumsy) - £49(dad) (Debt) And magically before and after your net worth is equal.

The road tax system makes no fecking sense at all. It's not a tax on road use it's a tax on carbon emissions and commercial vehicles (that one really rattles my bollocks). It should be sacked off completely. Tax on fuel is a far more sensible way of taxing road users. More miles you do the more you pay and the less economical your car the more you pay. Common fecking sense.

Fined for fly tipping rubbish that included his leccy bills with name and address on........................ good job he can play football!

I think he's won awards for the character. One of my favourites is little Arrya Stark, full of attitude and a tough little survivor.

It must be my missus is hooked on it too.........she's started calling me Tyrion in the bedroom now. I shouldn't laugh, I'm the wrong side of 6ft.

It's bloody excellent! Even if you don't like fantasy type stuff (I thought lord of the Rings was shite) give it a go. Looking forward to season 3 starting soon. Just going over season 1 and 2 again with the box sets. Best thing on the box by far.

Landrover Are They Really As Unreliable As Everyone One Says
Born Hunter replied to davis8008's topic in General Talk
Probably don't think they need to compete with them mate. The way the green brigades going with the anti 4x4, they're better sticking to what they've always done. But 90% of the tradesmans and working countrymans 4x4s these days seem to be the twin cabs, Huntsmen and keepers all seem to be driving the twin cabs. That's a huge section of the 4x4 market they are just ignoring. If LR could produce something to directly compete in this market but keep true to what a LR is and their pedigree I can't see them failing. But I know shit! LOL -

No idea mate, been wondering why for years. They have the engine and can see thousands of folk buying these twincabs for what i would say as comfort cars plus workhorses. I loved my Landy.......never felt like you were every going to get stuck, even with the trailer on. Think they are missing a trick. A tallented sort of chap with a head for bussiness and design could possibly approach LR with something. I dunno, just seems obvious to me. Something derived from either the Freelander or the Disco depending on where they want the price to sit. Having said that, they would probably bring ou -

While we are talking about Land Rover; I've been wondering for a bit now, why don't LR produce a twin cab pickup to compete with the likes of Ranger, L200, Navara, Hilux, D-Max etc? And don't say they already do, the Defender twin cab...... that isn't competition for them at all. I'm imagining something derived from either the Disco 4 or the Freelander. What I have in my head looks real smart and with the LR pedigree would be pricey but would probably sell well. Don't they think they can compete with all the other manufacturers in that market? -

You trying to prove me wrong No, trying to save some pride.................... failing miserably apparently! Well then, Landy are the only 100% 4x4 manufacturers................................ -

Ah bollocks! I did a quick auto trader search and found nothing but 4x4s. Still, the Isuzus have a good rep. What about Jeep? Do they only make 4x4s? -
I've had to make important decisions but they always seem to be easy, it's just accepting the answer that might be hard. The hardest decisions to make are often the most trivial, lol. I've never had to make a decision like yours whippet, just speaking from my experience. It's probably no comfort, but I really don't think you can make the wrong decision here.

I was gonna say Dan, as work horses, look at the guys who work the land, keepers, farmers, they all have them. I've had a few discoverys, troopers and a nightmare shogun. The discovery was my favourite. Constant 4 wheel drive, pull 2 16.2hh horses no probs. used them for field management, great machines. I think land rover are the only maker who only do 4x4's which speaks volumes. Like everything else you get good and bad. Never had a defender, like the best of both worlds in the discovery ISUZU. -
Thanks Malt me owld china, I kept my loaf screwed on and my mince pies open and all was cushty. I'm practically a full blown Landaner! Nah, all was good. Made my day seeing that though! Well that and the only car that can give me a hard on.......... a sexy little Audi R8 V10 Spyder in a hot little red number

It was very classy GTE. The stone work was excellent, I wish I had been able to get better pictures and on a better day. Really was quality!

Was within spitting distance on my lunch break today so I had to take a look; Though they had to wait nearly 70yrs for the memorial, it was worth it. Just thought some might be interested.

It's a dirty thing to do to spit in someones face but we don't know if/how he was provoked.

Very f***ing few in my locale.

I just reading a book on the Falklands war. Reading of men like this lad, it's just amazing. There's also a FB page called British Military or something similar, they put up similar stories of lads awarded for valour in the battlefield through historic conflicts. It makes you proud to be British.

As you say, a true hero and soldier.

Nice one Malt, I'll have to factor in a temperature and humidity correction to my formula.......................

What about atmospheric conditions? The air in a bathroom will inevitably be humid when you're having a bath, so will that further hamper dispersion of the fart? Also, when I followed the hounds a few years back, the old boys used to reckon a bit of moisture in the air was really good for scent, so maybe maybe there's a biological factor to add when discussing why a fart smells worse in the bath as well as a physics one? I'm vaguely recaling something about water holding scent for longer but I can't remember why.................... the water possibly absorbes/adsorbs 'stink' molecules. This
