Never had a problem if I'm honest. I occasionally find people who have strayed a long way from the nearest footpath and I just approach them in a friendly way and let them know that they have made a mistake. They're usually very apologetic and I explain it's nothing to worry about this time/easy mistake but it's worth being aware that the land is shot over regularly so it would potentially be dangerous for unaccounted people to be about. I think when folks see someone on a quad with a shotgun strapped to the front come up to them they are just relieved not to get a bollocking. Had a f

Wilf, it's been proven experimentally that amino acids very naturally and easily form in a theoretical primordial Earth environment. Now, I appreciate going from amino acids to more complex cellular organisms is a much bigger step but slowly we are getting there. And I think the dog analogy was just an example of evolution, how the first organism came about is another question altogether.

The MoD liaise with media/propaganda experts to release stuff like this. It's all part of the greater strategic picture. Put the fear of god into would be jihadists and give the British public a morale boost. Since the embassy the SAS have been used as a psychological tool as much as a combat one. The SBS on the other hand are played down and allowed lesser media attention. We all knew they were out there hunting... its just now that the government have decided the right time to slip a few details.

Also worth noting a small British force of intelligence units and SFs are being left in Afghanistan for the same reason. Every time the insurgents start to get organised, there's the world's finest at hand to cut the head off the serpent.

Google 'task force black' to see what special forces did to the insurgency in Iraq after the fall of Saddam. They f***ing leveled it!

Absolutely bang on wilf. Just because I see the problems we have with immigration and the isolated immigrant populations didn't for one minute stop me talking to and eventually become very close mates with my Indian friend. If she fit the problems I have and see, our friendship would never have evolved. To force higher degrees of immigration and so 'cultural enrichment' on anyone is wrong. Many of our towns and cities have suffered from that in the past 20 years and more. Yet many of our villages remain unspoilt, it's not racist or hypocritical to want to learn from history and save what w

I'm so fond of... I've got one Indian mate and you're making out I've opened the doors to the whole of Asia! We're all quite aware of your views neems. But some of us aren't terrified isolationists and still manage to be proud of our own and don't want to see an end. You make a lot of assumptions about my 'Asian mate'... and you know what they say about assumptions...

They are if the fuckers have them in stock! LOL. I'm waiting 5 weeks for a pair. They supply the entire British military but haven't the stock for civy orders... -
What about with a hacksaw and black and decker job in the shed Dan?
-
I'm sorry neems, did I say that? That'll be a no!

I haven't got the will to keep discrediting your claims. Crack the f**k on.

I've not said anything proves evolution! But our understanding of genetics now have supported evolution theory and not one single piece of evidence can be produced to counter evolution theory despite these great breakthroughs in tech and understanding. And f**k it, I'm done. You wouldn't accept it even if I had a friggin cave monkey to dissect in front of you! As long as you keep reading your biased creationist 'science' you'll never take an objective view.
-
He was not a fooking evolutionary scientist! He was known for his work in physics and philosophy! He believed in evolution but believed it divine and no natural mechanism was sufficient to explain it. All these 'top scientists' you creationists throw about have rarely contributed anything of significance to the area of evolutionary biology other than their opinion............. all too often biased by their spiritual beliefs! And very often dead and buried having not seen the great knowledge of biology we have today.
-
And you're quoting a Christian man that was anything BUT a 'top evo scientist' from the 40's, a time before the great understanding of DNA and genetics that we have today was available and which has also helped to understand the mechanism of evolution.
-
LOL, another creationist link pretending to talk science. For a chimp, 'Lucy' had skeletal features not seen in apes but more similar to humans.......
-
LOL LOL, no intermediates before or after. Do you even know what an intermediate is? You creationists are never happy! An intermediate is found and yet you want to see every single evolutionary step! Even then, you'd dispute the validity claiming they're falsified findings! You'll have to forgive me for not reading creationist propaganda, they have a bad habit of bending science and quotations to push their bullshit agenda. See, that's the difference here, science just wants to find the truth, there is no agenda! Evolution Theory is a product of science. Creationists have an agenda and

It wasn't 'proved' wrong at all. But you keep on with your ignorance mate. "show me evidence, show me evidence!" "oh shit, there's some evidence..." "right, lets try to discredit it any way we can and hope if we shout loud enough everyone will believe us"

Really? That's not what I see. I see how the producers have tried to convey the raw reality of a f***ing horrendous situation a few tough men from 3 Para went through and the bravery they showed. A situation so horrendous that three lost limbs and one lost his life when the Chinook that was supposed to save them set off yet another mine. Four men decorated for gallantry, one of which received the highest possible, the GC. JMO, but it's not a glorification of war but a testimony to the highest levels of bravery exhibited by British troops in a continuously deteriorating situation.

I'm originally from rural Grantham area. I don't consider myself a proper Lincolnshire sort though, whenever I have been deep into the bleak old fens I feel a bit lost. LOL The little Linc's villages dotted all over are as traditionally English as you'll ever find. The towns on the other hand might as well be renamed 'Little Romania/Poland' etc. To force a greater 'cultural enrichment' on these villages is just plain wrong.

I'm liking these bigger blades you're knocking out now matt. Not that that is going to put money in your pocket mind. My fieldcrafter is still doing the job too well for me to buy stuff just because I want it. But I am keeping an eye on this thread anyway for anything big that might just push me to part with cash. Personally I don't see what a diddy 2" blade can do that a 6" blade can't. But that's my attitude to most things. And I agree with the above, you always seem to try to justify the low prices you charge like you feel guilty charging even that much. If people want quality th -
You don't want your kids growing up in a predominantly white school because they will grow up to be bigoted racists? I grew up in primary school with only one lad who wasn't 100% Caucasian and a Secondary school with only one Black lad..... And yet one of my best mates is an Indian girl I went to Uni with... Bigoted attitudes in kids arise from bigoted parents... not from living in a quintessentially English village in rural Lincolnshire! Which god forbid happens to still be populated by ethnic Lincolnshire folk! ........ A strange breed we are I'll concede but bigoted we're not!

You're right about how you classify fox and wolves, they are of the same family (Canidae) however of different Genus, which is a classification above the species level (Canis and Vulpes). So by my thinking, you will have to change your definition of 'kind' to be "family level". However, we have never actually witness evolution on the genus level (to my knowledge), yet creationists are happy with that, never mind on the family level. I'm very happy to admit that though. Evolution is continuous, so yes transitional species will be here now.... however I'm not sure how we can identify the

You're right Tomo mate. I thought the film was bollocks too but everyone else seemed to rave about.
