We’re not laughing at max because folks weren’t getting seen. We all know that ffs. We were laughing at max because he said most the 40k deaths were actually caused by cancer or whatever. Francis, once again, I’m not talking politics, just relaying my experience. Unless you take offence to anything that counters your bias.

Me neither. But I do a bit of groundwork first usually. I mean going to the docs is a pain in the arse so I usually try to sort whatever myself first. In doing so I’ll have a good idea of the diagnosis, a good idea of what the gp will want to palm me off with and I’ll have a plan on how I’m going to dodge the shit and get what I want. Tbf this time I wanted an mri and everyone said you ain’t a cat in hells chance but because I said the right stuff the gp advised it before I even had to request it.

I wasn’t being screened for breast cancer lol. Honestly I’ve just looked at exact dates. I contacted gp on 22nd Sep, was consulted within an hour (they phoned me, no waiting on phone in a que) and I have an mri booked for the 24th Oct! I also saw the specialist at hospital last week. A lot of folks would have been waiting that long just to see their gp before covid! This is all obviously after the NHS stopped panicking about the pandemic and are getting on with regular healthcare again. Im not making any political point, simply relaying my experience. Folks can do what they want with

To me that’s all GPs are for, to direct you to someone who knows what they’re talking about and to dish out drugs that actually work. I wish it was as simple as you guys have it.

Same way they diagnose f2f. Ask questions and gather evidence to form a conclusion. It’s limited but far from hopeless. Many GP appointments don’t need F2F but conservative attitudes keep systems stuck in the past. Covid has simply forced it. I hope it stays an option. The specialist was F2F, just GP that wasn’t.

And I’ve been making tons of phone calls recently to different companies, the process takes a little longer which is understandable given many are working from home but the only ones that have been really pissing me off with stupid length waiting lists are the bank.

Well my experience with the NHS has been better than ever. Online system got me a phone call off the GP within an hour. Way more convenient to have a phone call than face to face. From there within two weeks I was seeing a specialist and within a month MRI.

I honestly don't know. I said ages ago time will tell what is the optimal strategy. But to say lockdowns don't work is mental. Utterly mental. It's total detachment from reality. If implemented, they reduce infection. Thats overwhelmingly fact and has been known and used for hundreds if not thousands of years. Does it have a cost, yes. Again I was pointing out these costs before we even went into lockdown if you care to read the start of the original covid thread again.

I'm way too busy to trawl through more stuff. So three epidemiologists say that given our knowledge of the pandemic a lockdown is not the best approach moving forward. Thats leagues away from saying lockdowns are pointless or don't work. You we're wrong.

I wasn’t suggesting you were mate. It’s unknown others I was concerned about!

Very close to you! Not disclosing further details, hope you understand.

Aye, I was told about him before I started at this place. Didnt really expect to ever see him. Quite striking when I first bumped into him! I shouldn't mind finding a cast in April!

This fella runs decoy dogs but similar thing to what you want. The Heide seems to fit the bill.

Out yesterday morning about to push a cover back and I’m met by this fella and a couple girls in the maize!
-
Utter nonsense.
-
Give over ffs. Last week you couldn’t give a f**k about them claiming lockdown was pointless.
-
Well it’s either that or burn em!

Hardly worth the paper work then. I wouldn't get out of bed for less than 5 personally.
-
Just think, then you'd be telling us how the government are selling us out on Brexit/nationalism by buying German!

With outdoor clothing money isn't really a factor for me. But then I'm not doing 100 quid a week on beer and fags or got 500 a month finance on a flash car or whatever like a lot of lads do. I've been disappointed with the performance of economy priced clothing too often to worry about parting with a few hundred quid every few years tbh mate. Everyone prioritises different stuff in their lives.

Never bothered me really. It does get into your skin though. Takes some scrubbing to get out so on that front I'd not knock anyone for gloving up. All the f***ing regulation bollocks though is nauseating. You'll need a f***ing degree to take a shit soon. The lad that got a gob full was like you though, his lip would curl at the first cut! Teach the f****r to pay attention!
