We've done this one before fella. If you are successfully vaccinated then your adaptive immune system will fight off infection in very short order which dramatically reduces the chance of you spreading the virus. I do consider it civic duty. I'm not sorry if weak minded people consider that oppression. Freedom works both ways.
-
I'll likely be one who gets vaccinated eventually but any f***ing card will go straight in the bin. At this point I don't believe it'll impact anything other than border control.
-
I'll grantee they'll be the one's at 25-30 who complain about "can't afford to buy a house"....
-
I feel like the dominant area of elevated risk (compared with a 'normal' vaccine) is in finding yourself in a group which for whatever reason don't respond well to vaccination (efficacy). As opposed to nasty side effects. I believe side effects are usually found out in Phase II. Reason I say this is that Phase III trials have vaccinated over ten thousand people for each vaccine candidate. If that were a medicine then it's a sufficient number of people to satisfy regulators in 'normal' times and there really wouldn't be anything 'rushed' about this. But because we're dealing with a vaccine the

My thoughts are that I'm not really interested in it for my own health so much as that of those who might not respond well to vaccination. I could very well be asymptomatic and spreading it to people who are at risk. Civic duty if you like. All the more important because of people who don't want to be vaccinated and contribute to that 'herd immunity' effect. Likewise, though it'd probably not hit me any harder than the flu, the flu is shit and I'd rather not have it!

I thought Gove explicitly denied exactly that?

Lol. I hope not, round here they’re still the centre of the community. I think most folks couldn’t much give a f**k about planes and holidays, they’re all gagging to get back in the pub!
-
It might be a requirement of border control but I really don’t think pubs are going to be baring the unjabbed!
-
f***ing chemtrails! Have a day off for Christ sake.
-
You’ll all be getting a dose! Deep breaths people!

Mindhunter is a drama but based on real serial killers. Some of the guys they got to play the serial killers are f***ing scary similar. It's obviously got fictional plots to keep things entertaining but I really liked it and was gutted to hear it was cancelled.
-
Mindhunter was a great one and very short lived unfortunately. It's a crime thriller all about the FBI in the late 70s interviewing serial killers to develop criminal psychology. I've not heard anyone say they didn't like it.

Fair, just checking. Not sure I can bring myself to give him even one tiny insignificant extra 'view' on Netflix's stats though.

Just to clarify, this... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_Life_(TV_series) ...not this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afterlife_(TV_series) It's just that the one by the total cuntface is not a murder mystery. And I'd really like to not like anything of that weasle's.

Good to hear it went well. Hopefully full recovery is smooth too. Tell 'em you're a bit disappointed with this private lark as you at least expected champers on coming round!

Flatliners (2017) Had to turn it off, it’s put the shits up me. I’ll finish it in daylight.
-
I’d have a go! But I want to do it Ahab style with a skiff and a harpoon. I shouldn’t mind an uzi for those f***ing sabs either.

This’ll come as no surprise to folks but I think committing to being a global player by the yanks side once again in this new era of Great Powers playing for regional and global dominance will go a long way with any US administration. They all value strength and the continental Europeans are weak at that game. The Irish border problem remains of course but it’s not checkmate for the UK yet.
-
I totally agree. Trump was best for the UK. I don’t think Biden is the end of the world for us but he doesn’t have an interest in seeing brexit succeed like Trump did. Well have to leverage other things with Biden and hope he’s reasonable.
-
Bit sales pitchy but worth asking around after the stuff I expect to hear other opinions.
-
They’re kind words Wilf, but I’ll admit to being a c**t with Nik. I feel perfectly justified in doing so mind. I felt he was pretty disrespectful to me on another thread and it was way too easy to press his buttons in return. I hope he takes your advice because we’ve all let stress in our personal lives affect us on here before and he has a lot to offer the forum.
-
Is that you finding it funny and not being upset then? Lol You started with the pathetic attacks and now Ive showed you to be a hypocrite and rather than take it on the chin you've tried to mug me off and now I've tipped you over the edge. I'll not resort to insulting you, I've just walked you in to doing that.
-
Oooo a laughy face! Hahahaha
-
You've been back on here five minutes fella. You have no idea how my opinion has been altered with evidence. But it's a good cop out like. Would you? And you think that's objective? LOL. You're a scientist right? Who said I supported the policies? You realise it's possible to separate political opinion from scientific analysis?

Genuinely, Niks put up some interesting stuff on here that gives the whole fraud thing the vaguest whiff of credibility, where once there was none. I'm not going to challenge any of that because like CJ I haven't the energy to go down that rabbit hole. I know too well how it can look like proof at first. But f**k me, the fella backs out of a heated debate on another thread with a not so subtle attack on my character, totally avoiding the actual topic, then has the balls to get upset about being told his view is a conspiracy on this one. Conspiracy is a real word! And when were talking abo
