Yeah, I guess. I'm just not sure I'm comfortable with a free country allowing it's citizens to be discriminated on based on their healthcare choices. I'd say I consider that one of our rights but I'm not totally firm on that yet. I simply don't want to support that way of thinking by towing the line because it suits me.

50% chance of survival if you catch it on a good day!

For folks that are so confident it's a walk in the park then do your part for herd immunity and go to your local covid ward for a good dose.

I went last night and I was chronically unfit and slept like the dead last night!

You don't have a god given freedom to enter another sovereign nation....

An ballistic missile H-bomb has never been used in war before but I'm fairly confident ours will go pop at the required time!

It's not brand new though I don't think. It's just never been used to develop a certified vaccine for humans I believe.

What about for folks who weren't doing as they were told back in April?

I honestly just assumed he was baiting max because 'hanging for treason' has been rolled out by max more times than I can count over the years.

You guys seriously not see what SHH is doing?

Yeah, fair one, as I said it depends on the situation and audience. It's just not common in my life and tbh I don't really want it to be.

There's a talent required for dark shit like that and if ya ain't got it stay away. The audience needs to have no doubt you're joking but with some folks there's just a little bit of doubt ain't there. I answered yes and no instinctively but it depends on the situation doesn't it. Tbh it's not something I often encounter and tend to avoid the sort of 'lads' groups where that shit comes up.

Many of the answers to that post are 'not sure, probably' mate. Sorry

I agree there's a lot of responsibility so I don't want to absolve the government either mate, but I'm just a bit sick of everyone blaming the government for all that's wrong meanwhile they'll happily choose to walk down that path ignorant of the destination. I want more freedom and responsibility but so long as society encourages the opposite we'll wilfully continue down the path moaning about the scenery and who built it. I personally think Thatcher's housing policy was in the right direction, take the responsibility out of the hands of the government and tax payer and put it into the h

Me and Lara are sorting it mate. Safe as houses!

Yeah of course it’s only a hat. I mean we all treat ourselves to bollocks. The lad might otherwise live in rags and be 15k towards a house or be paying for education or have f***ing trust fund or whatever. This ain’t really about him and his hat, LOL. I just think we’re quick to blame the government for all our woes and totally absolve ourselves of any responsibility. ‘The hat’ just seems symptomatic of general bad attitudes. Ffs I’ve got a younger colleague who drives a brand new Tesla and tells us how he can’t afford a f***ing house! You’ve got lads driving about like the CEO of a FTSE100 co

It's a bit like police. We have our force of general purpose beat bobbys who are about 24/7 as first responders to criminality right. But you can't expect them to defeat a serious threat without a bit of an ongoing fight. We have specially trained units for those threats and much like immunity, they tend to only be created after an encounter with that new type of threat.

If nine out of ten people who are vaccinated respond well to it their immune system becomes adapted to deal with future encounters (infection) with the virus. They mooch about their lives like normal and may encounter the virus by various means like get sneezed on or touch contaminated surface etc. The virus gets into them but their immune system whacks it in short order. Because it's specially adapted for that virus. They could still transmit the virus as until their immune system has killed it they are contaminated themselves. But those nine successfully vaccinated people don't develop the C

I don't want to panic anyone but on the 21st the greatest planetary alignment in nearly 400 years is due and it happens on the same day as the winter solstice! There is some serious tomb raider shit about to go down as well as space odyssey shit!

At the weekend I'm doing some jobs at my new house and a mate and her mate come trotting by on their Sunday ride and we have a natter like. Anyway her mate asks me if I bought the house or renting and when I said bought she said something that's getting rare these days "Oh well done!". Too many piss their money away and then refer to those that didn't as "lucky". f**k off!
-
We've done this one before fella. If you are successfully vaccinated then your adaptive immune system will fight off infection in very short order which dramatically reduces the chance of you spreading the virus. I do consider it civic duty. I'm not sorry if weak minded people consider that oppression. Freedom works both ways.

I'll likely be one who gets vaccinated eventually but any f***ing card will go straight in the bin. At this point I don't believe it'll impact anything other than border control.
-
I'll grantee they'll be the one's at 25-30 who complain about "can't afford to buy a house"....
