  1. Am sure the park and wild ones are different mate, although they are both big animals, the stags that is.... dont have any real experience of fallow, but have seen plenty of farmed and wild reds and they are lumps....not saying it can't be done, but would liked to have seen it....
  2. As you say mate, the hinds bloody big never mind the Stags , was over one day at Cannock chase staffs, few years back , and it was in jan had been snowing few days before , and some of the ground was hard . just mooching about , went to this field , the gate was 1/2 open , the bottom of the gate was wedged solid in to the floor, where mud/water had frozen it, they no way could move it, to close or open , it was stuck fast, me and a mate couldn't not move it no way. Anyway the dogs were just mooching about in front, when they knocked these red hinds up, they ran down the field a
  3. Aye, that's the one mate..... some big old lumps, had one up the garden the other week had got out, called the keeper to come get it otherwise it was going in the freezer.... We do a lot of land up round there, even some hinds are big ole things, nice place to live Yes, it's a nice spot, you've probably been past mine if you've been been the back way round the park. Some of the stags are huge and real nice to see in the summer once they get their headgear. They chop them off for the rut so they don't twat each other... bit of a of an oddball the landowner....
  4. Proper creatures, been in these lands a long time....i quite like the fact that there's a snake in the U.K. that can feck you up !!!.....be careful out there lol...

  6. I live next to a place that has reds in the park. I'm not a long dog man but read your posts out of interest. Often the deer are right up to my boundary fence and I often think about posts claiming to take them. The big lads are seriously big fecking animals, I know they are park deer but they are are a big lump on the hoof. The hinds I can see would be doable but the big boys it would take some dog to take one down single handed....looking at close quarters the size of them I would say no....
  7. Can't believe he's gone to the papers about it. It will be taken off him without a doubt......loose lips.....

Cracking pic mate. Got a blackbird on eggs in the stable but that's an early brood of thrushes. Will be fledged soon looking at size of them. Did well to bring them off with no leaf cover..
  13. i,m under pressure to do this mate so will get it sorted, it may take me a bit of time as I think I need a new laptop to make it happen, but once I do you will probably get fecked off as I have so many, I think I picked up around 50 pictures of roe in the last week or so along with countless fox, badger and squirrels plus one polecat and a bird having a piss behind the crash barrier on the motorway, before you get excited it was just her legs jumping over the crash barrier , I'm doing a study for the government on crash barriers.....it's top secret....can you send me all the footage you have o
  14. Water is weird.....like really weird.....driving in the car and going over any bridge, no matter how small, I have to look down at the water and wonder what's in there....sea fishing from the shore or boat is all about the unexpected,....what's going to pull your string.....often a nice trout stream near here, I catch a couple of fish and am quite happy to sit and watch the world go by....
  15. Anybody recommend where I can get a couple of guns serviced. Have come across a titan manitou bullpup and a bsa ultra. Both have a bit of rust and general wear and tear. I like the titan and want them both up and running... pm if preferred. Cheers chaps.
  16. Not off a cell phone it isn't......cell site can only trace to the mast the mobile was using to make the call.....if that mast was busy it pings to the next one.....in reality it can trace to within anywhere between 1 to 5 miles depending where the masts are... It is if you know where to go.... Go on then, where should I go ?......pm me if you prefer.......I have 'a friend' in a bit of a pickle and cell site analysis is key......

  20. No mate, they will wait until his bail date unless he was arrested for something very tasty and they want him off the streets. Nowerdays the police cant go around arresting people willy nilly, they need nto show a necessity to arrest. 50% of interviews these days are conducted as voluntary interviews.
