Enjoy it , done any fishing mate ?.....those big catfish topping in the river are tempting......I don’t think I will end up anywhere this year if truth be told, got a good mate whose on borrowed time so need to be around....grabbing a couple of days in Lisbon next week and looking forward to that....

Found their nests a few times under old bridges. They build them out of moss and are round like big wren nests..

Just been watching the Klitchko fight, for a big man AJ has quick movement and I think will take care of Parker inside 4 rounds........Wilder will be put to sleep later in the year, then a date set for Fury and by then Gnasher will be out for being a good boy to set us all straight.....

Mate, a few years ago I went to feed my chickens and found they had scratched up a shell about a foot long. I'm not a million miles away from Catterick garrison and the chicken pen aint a million miles away from my house..........half hour later bomb squad and cops crawling all over........................

Picked up a wren last night that was only just alive. Put it in stable overnight. Also have a great tit that roosts ever night inside a clear polythene bag hanging up in my wood shed. Good to see he was still there last night.

Yes mate, just booked a place in Lisbon for a few days next month and I advertise my place up the dales on air bnb. fancy Burma or Vietnam myself but got a bit on this year so it will have to be next year now

Got another wire out today.......

Managed to snare a dog fox at the top of my field that has helped himself to some chickens last night. Is it worth putting another wire down in the same spot straight away ? it smells very foxy where I caught him. Is he likely to have a partner mooching round this time of year ? Don't snare foxes normally so any input gratefully received. The run is through some deer fencing where ive cut out a nice 'foxy ' shaped hole
