shame didn't get to it when it was fresh. taxidermist would have loved to get their hands on one. my mate did one and had some bird geek come to inspect its digestive tract which when unravelled measure something like a mile or something bonkers like that

I have a mate who's a taxidermist, him and his mate have skinned out over 100 big cats so they know what they are talking about. He says he saw a big cat (black) a few years ago in Yorkshire. There were 2 hares in the field to give a size comparison....

If you,stop feeding the ducks won't come, chase them off if you can or feed before dark. Let a couple of shots off and see if they piss off. The ones on my pond weren't bothered by shots at all however.....keep at it....

Trouble with swans is they become tame and will start following you expecting the feed.....they are not daft birds........I had the same trouble and resorted till feeding just before last light so they didn't get chance to eat the feed before the ducks turned up.....best of luck

Had the tape measure on my 3 tonight, coming out at 65kilo so can go next week.

Greenfinches a rarity round here but make up for them with loads of tree sparrows. Had 5 nestboxes with them in this year.
