  1. this is where i dont understand the ozy way of thinking, you say they are a poor choise as a hunting dog, ok thats your point of view. yet ozys put all manner of breeds in to there pig dogs that have no place in hunting, BOXER being the obvouse one also great dane , wolfhound . your not telling me these breeds have a better understanding of hunting than a kelpie

  3. MOST OF THEM AINT GOT COPY RIGHT ON THEM . THEY JUST SAY THEY HAVE BUT IN REALITY THEY AINT. ITS FUNNY BUT ALOT OF THE GUYS THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT THERE FILMS BEING COPIED, THEN GO OUT AND GET COPIED FILMS.
  4. greyhound saluki deerhound or borzio i think most of the larger sight hounds have faster recorded speeds than the whippet. i could be wrong mind

  6. a rabbit in the north and south wil run at aproximatly the same speed, but some landscapes and field types, and the amount of rabbits on the gound make it easyier to get a bigger haul.

  10. I hear this a lot from ozys about starting dogs young. take no notice, most running dogs shouldn't be started till around this age. 12 months is fine, you carry on taking your time, your dog will more likly benafit from this rather than holding it back.

  14. YES WE WILL MATE , GOT IN AT 4.30 THIS MORNING , AND UP AT 7.30 TO TAKE TRINA TO WORK, AND NOW I HAVE TO GO AND DO ALL THOSE BLOODY RABBITS . GOT A PULL ON THE WAY BACK LAST NIGHT , AND THE TANK DIPPED FOR CHEERY. ITS A GOOD JOB I DONT USE IT OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LONG WALK HOME. ROUND TRIP 300 MILES

  19. I WOULDN'T USE A KANIA, IT WILL GET NICKED OR BROCKEN. USE A FENN IN A BIRD BOX , SO BOTH TRAP AND SQUIRREL ARE NOT SEEN. OR JUST DONT DO THE CONTACT AT ALL

BEHAVE YA SELF. must greyhound men will put there diogs on a gallop at least a couple times a week, the one near me has one on his own property 350 yrd long rising up hill at the end. trotting behind the bike or car impoves its stamminar , also behind the car you can speed up or take it slow, i will very often cover 2 miles in about 8 mins. i do agree though , that at the end of it all , actual working is the best thing for fittnes

    right , i hope somone with more experiance in such matters can help. now i know how to use the old method with hazel , and i know the pre set basket method with fiberglass and grommets. but i notice on some pics on this longnetting section people using hazel with preset basket systems. so i have few questions , as im about to set a couple of netts the same. 1. how do you attach them. 2. do you use rubber bands , aka glenn waters style. 3. could you use grommets , of course provided all the hazel is simmilar thikness 4.or do you use a clove hitch. 5. if you
  23. late summer i use the mountin bike, and the truck , Tara runs alongside or up front, Visa lags behind about 30 metre, still using both methods now. i also do a fair bit of daytime running on those daytime rabbits that sit right out , ran 2 yesterday , ran 3 the day befor. they catch some but they miss more also been out ferreting twice last week, not doing enough lamping as the weather is still wank.
