  1. all i can add to that brother fox is this, we are talking kelpie crosses here and not pure kelpies. although there are some guys over here using pure kelpies with good success. also a pic saves a thousand words now i aint saying there perfect, cos mine is far from that, but she sure can fill the game bag TOMO

  3. people do move hares around , on the big coursing estates, but as sky cat said , they dont take to it well. got to say thogh £200 aint very much , especialy if you have to delver to cornwall, and if they come from up north , feck me it would be £100 in fuel. on the up side though, its nice to see that some one wants to encourge the hare in an area where there arnt many. good luck, to you both in your quest. TOMO
  4. this is where i dont understand the ozy way of thinking, you say they are a poor choise as a hunting dog, ok thats your point of view. yet ozys put all manner of breeds in to there pig dogs that have no place in hunting, BOXER being the obvouse one also great dane , wolfhound . your not telling me these breeds have a better understanding of hunting than a kelpie

  6. MOST OF THEM AINT GOT COPY RIGHT ON THEM . THEY JUST SAY THEY HAVE BUT IN REALITY THEY AINT. ITS FUNNY BUT ALOT OF THE GUYS THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT THERE FILMS BEING COPIED, THEN GO OUT AND GET COPIED FILMS.
  7. greyhound saluki deerhound or borzio i think most of the larger sight hounds have faster recorded speeds than the whippet. i could be wrong mind
  8. real nice whippet that chalky, more like a whipp/grey. very nice, my type of dog that
  9. a rabbit in the north and south wil run at aproximatly the same speed, but some landscapes and field types, and the amount of rabbits on the gound make it easyier to get a bigger haul.

  13. I hear this a lot from ozys about starting dogs young. take no notice, most running dogs shouldn't be started till around this age. 12 months is fine, you carry on taking your time, your dog will more likly benafit from this rather than holding it back.
