  3. when i set in the runs i tend to wrap the draw cord round a suitable branch,, without any slack in it. i have seen on a warrener film, a tunnel box trap thing that worked well on those banked hedges you have down there,, if i remember corect it cought from both sides and was multi catch,,, of course the down side is carring the dam things about,, but if your lucky enough to drive to warrens,,they would be very handy ,, and on the film they seemed to work a treeat

  5. without a dowt the dales is the place to do big scores,, unless you go on a scotish island,,, and i would agree with 2.8 that on the hole the bunnys are easier,, especialy if your used to catching them on winter seed with thin hedges,, or of course golf courses.. any fields that are tufty and slow the rabbits down are going to be easier,, you tend to get more of these the higher you go,,, and very often more rabbits up there as well.............on the other hand we have some farms in the vally bottoms,, with short fast running ground,, some of wich is fenced, and some with nothing just ba

  19. as the other lads have said,,, mora cliper,,, opinal,, great knifes handy for if anything big ends up on the ground also the stanly knives,,, there are some now that open up like a lock knife,, but use replaceable stanly blads,, and the hooked blades that stanly do for cutting carpet,, work well

  21. went to belguim about a year ago,, from the road from dunkirk, up in to belguim there were plenty sat out on the flat seed..... i did wonder with it being ilegal for so long,,, and so few coursing men out there,,, could you have a sneeky look with out having problems,,,,,,,,and if you did get nicked,,,, would it be as bad as here ?? if you live in kent it wouldnt cost that much.......
  22. good bit of game there mate,,, as bosun said dam site easier to skin,,,, mind you if i was doing it for myself theyed be hung for 4-5 days and plucked,, i think the skin protects the flesh better when cooking,, just get tin foil round them,, or cassarole them. its a shame your going at teatime jim,, im off for a spin in an hour,,, be back befor 5 ,,, we wil give him a run when you get back
