  1. i wish i had the smilys on this computer,, (is it cos hes a prick), and hes your mate lol..... priceless
  2. whin im quite certain bogger was being sarcastic , when he said about being under someones wing
  3. im lucky at my workplace we have big industrial washers,, so i do them there,, but to be honest i might not wash them for a month or 2,,, but the dogs dont go to bed wet or dirty, there always washed and towel dryed first... some duvets never get washed,, there only £2.50 from ikea, so i get 4 or 5 at a time, spend £10-12 at a time, no big deal
  4. a very respectable score by anyones standards,, well done fellas
  5. One wont even scratch the surface Tomo, but a few years down the line if left alone, 1 becomes 6, if half of them are female, then the year after 6 becomes 18, the year after that 54. on the third year i can definateley tell you that you will see a big dent in the big warrens. New Zealand may have a massive ferret/polecat population, and a bigger rabbit population. but it has less that 4 million people living there. its hardly under pressure from people unlike britain is. Wish there was only a 4 million in britain! yeh your right there,, it would be a great place with just 4 million
  6. great night there jim,,somtimes we get a bit spoiled thinking 40 aint that good,, but in reality its a great night,, well done to the owd lad..... who's blue D.L genuinly??? i havent herd of that dog, and i thought i knew all of the bricks dogs
  7. bogger, the pup he has now thats 8 month old is called buster,, i think his old dog is called trigger im sure he said its 6 or 7 years old............. i have no idea weather trigger was going to rehome his dog or not but im not surprised he was thinking of selling a dog whilst in hospital,, if anybody had been in hospital for as long for the same thing, most of us would think about rehoming a dog
  8. 1 of our farms up the dales,, the old boy used to release ferrets,, we would often see them,,, personly i dont think they do dent a healthy population of rabbits,, they certainly didnt on these farms, if you think about it a single ferret only needs to eat 1 rabbit a week. and look at new zealand, massive ferret/polcat population, and a bigger rabbit population.
  9. so have you had any takers sufolk poacher ???
  10. well done boys both nights,,, how many did you catch the second night??
  11. cos of her indoors mate,,, she works til late most evnings,,
  12. theres a great grey vet at swindon , called simon gower 07770586193, always got to be worth a travel to see the proper man
  13. just tryed to pm you ideation,,,, i dowt its a secret,,hes up there
  14. talking of weight,,,, hows bird doing whin,, have you weighed Tod yet,,lol, or has he ended up as lobster bait
  15. so you think a dog that catches 10 out of 10 and then burns out is better than one that plods on steady all night , missing a few , but ends up with 30 or 40. its whats in the bag at the end of the night that counts like whin said , but if i was whin i would get rid of my blinkers yes whin did say its whats in the bag,,,,,,,he loves to contradict himself does our whin,,, cos any other time if you talk of catching a good bag,, "its no big deal" he says,,,, he also says theres no strains of lurcher,, its long dead,,, yet here he is with kizzy and tor of datmoor, strain,,, been dead 20 year
  16. Do you want Markbricks number he'll run you haha .ATB Andy. i bet hes already recieved a pm from him,,lol
  17. cant see where trigger said he would run you, did he pm you??
  18. thats quite true celt,, i have seen it happen in the comp, and your right a third party would be good,,, but trying to organise an extra person whos willing to travel and drop evrything to ref,, can be a problem especialy if there a stranger. a thread comes on like this,, and shure people want to be involved, either running a dog or reffing sounds good watching 2 good dogs running each other.....but after a few days and its old news on here, people arnt so cean......dogs injured,, im at work,, weathers poor, my cars broke,,,iant got a car youl have to fetch me.. my dogs got over its injur
  19. i had Venus torchy,, well we know trigger cought 13,,and what a 13th catch, that was one of those runs that will stick with me,, it realy was a great rabbit, and in all honesty i would have liked it to escape , im fairly shure venus cought in the high teens, and vins little bitch cought the rest..... vins little bitch is a nice quik bitch , with a nice fast strike,,,, to think what happened to this dog befor he had it is truly shoking,, so what hes done is great. triggers dog is a powerfull beast for shure, had i realised he was 2 short of 100 overall i would have gave him a few more,
  20. i dont think there need be a third person lamping for you,,, just lamp your own,,, your then the judge of what rabbit to run................of course some folk will miss out perfectly runnable rabbits being a judge in 2 previouse lamping comps, has tought me that,,,,
  21. its actualy a very nice area,, the top end of sherwood forest,,,
