    If the farmer wants them gone,,, he could help by getting in with the hedge cutter on the tractor,,,, although sometimes the fallen twigs and branches can make it worse,,, I would be tempted to get the strimer,, and cut channels evry 20 yard or so and long net it,,, but you need a good few pairs of hands to help with the ferreting,,, like you said net all the runs... At the end of the day it down to preparation ,,, befor you ferret it,,, your going to have to do some kind of clearance work,,, failing that use the other methods of control , in the above posts

    Big cats,,, my arse,,,,, big cats live all over the world,,, and film crews film them almost at will. Even snow leapods in the hymalyers,,, and there's only a few left........ Yet as soon as these cats live in the uk,,, they become almost impossible to see......

    Had another look out today,,, vin got out of cockerpoo sitting,, and was aloud out,,, First little warren two bolts,, no nets,, dogs cought one,, and missed one,,, but it ran to the next warren just 20 yard away,,, so nets down on this next one,, they started to rattle out of this warren,, although somhow we missed 2,, wich dropped back in further up this nettle bed,,, shame as ruby the border nearly nailed one on the run,,, ,, 3 nets down where ruby was marking,, ferret in and 1 second later 1 out,,,lol,,, I moved on to another warren and left vin,, he cought 2 more whilst I eventua

    I get 3 Jill's easy in my single box,,, just a little light weight affair ,,, in fact I would get 4 in ,,, mind mine are smallish Jill's,, I don't like partition boxes,,, my so called double box without a partition,,,built by Simon whitehead ,,, I have many times had 6 ferrets in it,,, Can't be doing with heavy boxes,,,need all my strength for all the rabbits I'm carrying.. It's a good strong box mind gaz,,,,get the jig saw out,,, cut some big holes in it,,, wire mesh the holes,,, and have it in the motor,, just for transporting
