You should move to Sussex and get up on the downs or get some permission on a golf course with big fairways. You could buy a proper lamp too but I think a deerhound x would be wasted on you. Yep ,, and should learn to judge distance properly,,,

Pretty much. Let me just make this clear to you I'M STRAIGHT! I ONLY GO WITH WOMEN! My point is, if the bloke lamping can't see then the dog don't get slipped. There's a couple of blokes on here with very capable bull x's who were lamping with me. They were trying to get closer and I was about to slip. They slipped there dogs at the same distances that I'm talking about and their dogs made up the ground and got on terms. They'd never have done that if they hadn't seen me do it. If you're dog can't be slipped from that distance then it's not fit for the job and if you can't see to slip your

Very long way 200 yard ,,, even on the flattest of fields,,,I'm not saying it's not impossible,,, but it's right at the edge of the working distance.... Anybody that doesn't believe me,,,, go pace out 200 yard,,,put a dead rabbit on the ground ,,, and put the light on,,,, it's very easy to underestimate distance at night,,,, a rabbit at that distance is hard to see
