It's the only one I've seen run,,,and only a handful of times,,,so it's hard to say really ,,,,but any dog that puts 50 in the bag on a night out,,,and can still carry on if we had,,,certainly has plenty of staminar... He's a big well put together dog,,but remember he's only 1/4 mal,,,1/4 grey,,,,and half lurcher I think,,,it's certainly got a great weatherproof jacket...trigger likes him and catches plenty of game ,,

Dogs should only be in a house,,,when kids have left home....or at least grown up... Let's not forget these dogs we own,,are stone wall killing machines,,,your avrage lurcher is 50 lb of muscle and teeth,,,wich if it wanted could kill a child proberbly double that weight

Why are folk suprised,,we have been debating this since these hunting sites started,,as soon as new year comes,,,,and befor hunting sites,,there were always columns in the sporting press... I would prefer if the rabbits weren't pregnant when I kill them,,,but it won't stop me hunting till near the end of march,,,,

Just to put the cat amongst the pigeons,,,,, Andy ,,didn't you have a good greyhound along time ago that took 30,s on the lamp,,,or perhaps it was a mates dog,,,lol I was fortunate to see a big well known grey a few week back get it's first ever run at live quarry,,,it did superb,,,and on the way back,,sight 3 larger quarry all together and off it went again,,,it missed as it happens,,, a good marathon dog though.. Personally out Of a grey and a collie I would sooner have the grey,,,,, But I agree with Andy if breeding a collie cross,,,I thing better to go to the lurcher,,espe

Good vids they were,,,proberbly the best lamping rabbit films made,,,plenty of light so you could actually see the action,,,rather than some jumpy bit light from a pencil beam modern lamp,,,and then to see all the difrent crosses,,, As regards the big dog thing,,,,that's all noncence as far as I'm concerned ...that kelpie cross I had at 22 inch was fecking mustard at catching rabbits,,both daytime and on the lamp,,,,,,,,,BUT,,,my bitch Venus at just shading 26 is far superior,,both day and night

Don't think you will be aloud in if your 50,,,I'm sure the cut of age is early 40,s,,,unless of course your loaded,,,or maybe starting a buisness and employing locals,,,you better check first mate,,,great country though NZ ,,,and only about 5. Million folk live there,,,,and most of them in the big city's

When it comes to purse nets,, I think it's the weight or thin ness of the material,,,,,rather than the actual material... A big heavy 10z 4 foot long,,,,gets in no more mess than a Polly net the same length,,,,and in snow,,,them Polly nets are like magnets to snow,,,, Get some big heavy 10 z,,the best by far
