  1. I'm sure the pasterns thing it due to diet rather than execize,,,,to much protein combined with like I said earlier,,,big boned dogs out growing muscle,,,,they do look very angled and weak,,,but these fast growing big dogs can go like that,,,, Alsatians are bad for it,,,,there's plenty advise about rectifying it in pups

Back in 2008,,, when the price of weat went through the roof,, a local farmer rang me to clear a lot of rabbits,,,I went and looked,, and by feck he was getting hammered ,,,it was Chrimbo ,,,,so I had to wait till just after the new year,,,,in between that time jim had been and cleaned up,,,,so my weeks work was just catching stragglers ,,,,but like you say I got the credit and the cash,,,lol

  8. These big pups with a lot of bone can grow at an alarming rate,,,that's why they need the best of grub,,,in fact if feeding dry,,or part of the diet dry,,,then it's my belief ,,you need the large breed type feeds,,,rember these dogs that make 27,,, there bones are out growing there muscles,,,that's why some large breeds can have week pasterns ,,,,look at Alsatians there notorious for it...... Of course mushrooms young dog is so nice because of it's foster dad...........

  13. Forest v derby ,,is a bigger rivalry
  14. It's not the taking the sticks out after that's the problem,,,,,it's them fouling the net whilst it's working,,, I wear gloves,,and it takes just seconds to pull everything out,,,,I've seen to many nets snag over the years on sticks and rabbits escape,,, I think it's just lazy not removing all the sticks,,,,,vins a c**t for it,,,tries to set nets over all sorts of shit,,,and fails,,,winds me right up,,,,lol
  15. Just depends on what is obstructing the hole,,,yeh leaves not much of a problem,,,trouble is there's usually sticks underneath ,,,,drives me insane when folk try and set over these,,,me personally I like to clean all round the hole,,only takes seconds,,,wich then saves time when trying to set with sticks obstructing
  16. This is not a dig at you mate,,,cos I bet your a young fella,,,,but it's a sad reflection of the "time" that somone from the north east doesn't know what a deputy stick is,,a once proud mining area,,,, a sign of times I suppose ,,, Growing up in a mining village,,they were a comon sight especially the old retired fellas,,,,seen a few with little metal badges all the way up
