See this is what i can't grasp..it's ok for them to call each other nigger and paki...but let a white person call it them...then its racist..personally they can call each other what they want but when they play the racist/double standard role then it makes me a tad angry and shows them in the guise they really are..which is politically manipulating tramps.

Sometimes a little explanation rather than locking a topic might be in order. Trouble is the lads dont know where they stand because some Mods are more lenient/stricter than others..Perhaps a zero tolerance across the board may be better..least folk know the outcome then.

Perhaps being a little less bombastic may help Mat. You can and do come across as condescending on alot of your posts. There are lots of dodgy posts on here and silly comments granted...maybe a warning in a decent matter beforehand may be the way instead of just the word "enough" or some such comment then locking the topic. You may not be here to make mates or be liked but a little diplomacy goes a long way imo.

The clue is the "mental health problems" Surely some sort of detention in a physcho ward/hospital would be more comparable to jail where he wont get the treatment he so sorely needs. Yet be a sports hero or some such and they throw all the help you'll ever need at you. Same as filthy alkies/junkies who have never given their country one jot of themselves in a positive way. The law is an ass and so are the ones meting it out.

A strong dog will eventually snap a leather collar. Or stretch it so that it is in effect useless. Leather gets wet...cracks and stretches. I should know because it has happened to me a fair few times at the crucial moment. Now maybe looked after and bee's waxed regular then things might be different..But in all fairness i dont buy a leather collar so i can sit and polish/wax it. I buy an SS collar so i can abuse it day after day without having to faff about drying it/waxing it/ polishing it safe in the knowledge that it will never snap or stretch. The best leather i ever used was off Glyn Jon

5 imo. 3 years old and a dog is still learning its trade. By 5 everything should be in place upstairs and downstairs..From the age of 7 or 8 they will start to slow a little or show signs of wear and tear..jmo ..atb stabba

Anybody got a link for a shock collar that works on a dog that just whinges a bit (but doesnt bark) ideally a remote one that i can press from the house. Dog only whinges first thing in a morning until she see's then thats it. Never whinges at any other time.(or somebody to kennel the bitch while i go away for the week lol pretty local to barnsley area lol) atb stabba
