A doorman's job is to prevent fiasco's like this not get embroiled in them. That doorman needs stripping of his badge and never allowed to work the doors again imo. The 80's have been and gone and by the looks of things that doorman aint trained since then.

You think a dog runs only one way? The dog has to jog back. Also at a 200 yard slip the dog is gunna be running at least 300 yard..So 10 x 300 yard = 2 mile or thereabouts...20 x 300 = 4mile or thereabouts...then factor in like i said..coming back....thats some distance.

If you are breeding and selling and not keeping one or two back for yourself then its painfully obvious that you bred for the cash.Now a man with the dogs welfare and his morals intact would probably gift the majority to close hunting friends/aquaintances. The surplus would then be sold at a fair price to recoup costs of rearing/stud fees etc etc..Selling a litter of 10 @ £250 apiece is obviously all about the money imo. But to answer the question..a working mans price to me would £100 £150 .

200 yards is a very long way. suppose on very big land with a good lamp it could and probably is being done...but who'd want to realistically slip at 200 yards for a rabbit?.Now if the rabbit was up and running away from the lamp by the time the dog got there you'd be talking 300+ yards away..That's nearly quarter of a mile..an awful long way..I'd say at that distance all you'd see is eyes if you were lucky..Ten slips at that distance would mean the dog has done 2 mile flat out. 20 slips 4 miles...some running is that lol
