  1. You have just said the problem is product of human nature and yet you believe essentially swapping one form or currency for another will fix it? The nature of humans remains unchanged in both so why would corrumption go away? It would merely make corruption and excessive wealth more difficult. My suggestion to fix all major issues at the moment is to reduce the population and wipe out the stupid. Mate, not having a dig at you but im always wary when people say that. If one is worried about overpopulation then the logical thing to do is top oneself, but the people who say it t
  2. Couldn't blame anyone for doing the same, I would probably do the same if someone stole my dog to be honest

  4. We can't change our nature, it's what has got us here and it is what will have to save us. We could have continued pond lifeing about the place like every other species, but we didn't we evolved into what we are now. Our competative and adaptive superiority put us here and now it is threatening us. Suddenly burning all ya fivers and bartering won't change jack shit. Money isn't the problem, human nature is. I think it is debateable on how you clarify what is considered superior. We are the most intelligent animal, but intelligence hasn't been proven to be evolutionary stable or benefici
  5. Aye that is what I do when umm 'shopping for xmas pressies' just like the microsoft ads suggest. But ideally I need the previews to be all work related, so I suppose I could change them all and use a new window privately for other shenanigans. Thanks for the help, I don't know why this didn't occur to considering my extensive private browsing experience, since I am such a generous shopper
  6. I would 100% rather have our current system than what I imagine a bartering based society to be like. Bartering is excellent on the small scale (I would rather barter on the small scale) but for a society to do away with currency and rely on bartering would completely stunt the societies and humans achievements IMO. Would that be such a bad thing in the long-term? We are on a path to extinction because everyone is programmed to want more and more and in the end greed will destroy everything. We rely on more technology to fix problems, but eventually there won't be a way to return fish t
  7. Firefox seems to have updated, so now when I open a new tab it shows a list of my most visited websites. Now as you might imagine, this doesn't bode well for me so I was wondering how to change what they show? I can keep deleting them, but then it just gets replaced straight away when I visit a new site so I am not really sure what to do as I don't want to have to constantly delete my history, nor am I inclined to do an honest days work. I am handing my notice in on Tuesday, but I need to give 8 weeks notice and don't want them to have any excuse to f**k me over. This also backfired on my
  8. Can't blame him and those complaining should remember that 1% of millions is still a feck lot more than most of you will contribute. MP's are delusional if they think they have the moral high ground
  9. I haven't seen one make the kill, but they are certainly very capable of taking rabbits. This might sound like bollocks, but my first cat brought a full grown hare back one day that was much bigger than the cat itself. I have no idea what the circumstances were so it might have been dead when it found it (or certainly injured/dying in some way), but I am not aware of cats dragging carrion home. Either way it is impressive just for it to get it home, then drag blood and fur across the carpet of three rooms
  10. ok scothunter you up to date with the times and knows whats going on kinda guy... because hey they cant fool you right???? take £20.. down to your bank either today or tomorrow....ask to see the bank manager..yes the man in charge!!! give him your £20 and tell him to give you the supposed value of that money in silver or gold... or actually anything of value besides money... and come back and tell me what he says to you....then you will see what your moneys worth!! Gold, diamonds and silver are utterly worthless unless used to build something (diamond drills etc). There is n
  11. I can add one, "you can work with colleagues of the same sex"
  12. £1=£1 and always will. What you can buy with that £1 is the only thing that will change. With taxes, if a loaf of bread is £1 and 20% tax does that make the bread worth 80p? If it were 50% tax then is the bread worth 50p? No to both, it is worth £1 imo.
  13. I am sure he won't get anything, but after you saying that I kind of want him to Hilarious

  15. I am the same, I remember watching endless DVD's and although they have blurred together a bit now I remember 'the warreners way of catching rabbits' etc and never really thought of him being well known on here. I have no idea if he is a dog thief, but surely there must be more to the story if he has legally kept hold of it?? Can someone explain it without a debate kicking off? I don't see why he'd video himself with a stolen dog? Not saying he's innocent or guilty, I'd just like to know the bigger picture... No mate I don't remember seeing the dog in a dvd, I just meant that if

  17. I don't really care if people feed foxes in cities, but there are two big reasons why I think it is a daft idea in the country 1. With too much food they will have a bigger litter/more will survive, which will then be desperate for food when it runs out and find someone's coop or raid bins 2. It will become less fearful, therefore ballsier when finding food and start venturing nearer houses Although being less fearful makes it far more likely to get shot etc, so maybe it will balance out But if they aren't near anything they can harm, then who cares let the old lass enjoy herself
  18. Sounds like added space not needed
  19. IQ doesn't tell you much, I bet Beethoven was a cretin but was still a musical genius nor does it measure many other things. The online ones always give a score of 130+ too to assure people they are ALL above average What's an EQ test?
  20. Good bit of pest control, always good when you get enough for a decent meal. I hope you leave enough for winter though, I hate shooting in Summer thinking I am wiping out the breeding stock. I like to give them a bit of a break too when I can, but some farmers need them gone so someone has to do it and it keeps them sweet for when you ask to up your permission a bit
  21. I wouldn't even use that to carry the bunnies back home (wild ones, not nicked) they would be very tender by the end though
  22. Lots of people forget to take their change, you could make your £12 back with a bit of sneakyness. They will probably compensate you with vouchers, my mrs' sister bought a 'fresh today' pizza before getting it home and finding it mouldy! So she took it back to complain and got a £5 voucher with a 'sorry you were not fully satisfied' note which she wasn't too happy with considering she could have made the whole family very ill indeed. Good luck sorting it out, they don't sound like they handled it well at all
  23. I am also black and having a glowing reputation, as well as a reputation for someone to never take offline
  24. It was pretty obvious to all involved that he deserved them, no-one else did either and those are the facts. Don't defend him or you will be warned too. Johnny I think Ratreeper wants to take it offline  or he has had his funny cigarettes again I will take you offline for insinuating I would take this offline, I will be on the isle of Skye between 2:50am and 3:05am waiting. Or are you a coward?? Come to newcastle then as that is where I'm working  Ah, a coward I see. You know where I will be, no-show!
