£10k is a good budget, you are spoilt for choice for that. I just sold my 313hp Nissan 350z Roadster for 9k. Was a fully loaded 2007 model, had every option the dealer offered - was £36k new. Ive been looking at cheap fast cars recently, vx220`s ive seen for under £6k, the vx220 turbo for £9k, lotus elise for £7k, Evo 6`s (i think it was the 6) for £4k, My mates got a scooby with 300bhp which cost him less than £2k. Golf r32`s are getting cheap now. E46 M3`s are around 6k->8k. Old Porsche boxsters are £5k. You can even squeeze a 911 in just about for £10k. All depends on what you w

I bought similar from ebay a few years back. Shrink wrapped ex MOD brand new. Cost 8quid i think for 2 sets. Worth a look.

Lol guess so. I tend to usually be out in the frost and rain more with my air rifle it seems stalking rabbits.
-
Nice one! Id spend the first couple of visits pacing things out and working out distances etc... and looking out for tell tale signs of rabbits etc... holes & poo etc so you know where they are likely to be! Good luck!

Good shot at 50yards! Ive had many days like that and blamed it on the weather. And yet other times the weather can be as bad, if not worse, and I get a good bag. All seems to be down to luck of the drawer really!

you only clean it twice a year ha.mine gets stripped weekly specialy if its rained hard while am out. lol, mines never out in the rain or mud etc... else i`d be cleaning it more often! The only thing i notice when i strip it down is that the gas tophat piston thing gets coked up. Once ive cleaned it all out, it ends up ejecting spend cartridges for miles!

I use an old cardboard box, and tape a bit of a4 paper to it. I then draw around a 2p on it many times, so i get a grid of 1inch size targets. I set this out at the zero i want - usually 25 or 30 yards. Making sure that theres a good backstop behind the box i usually stick a brick or something in it to weigh it down. Then aim at the middle target. See where the pellet goes, adjust scope accordingly. I then make sure its set up by trying to shoot each target in turn. You can get about 20 odd targets easily on the bit of a4.

You say that, i had an alloy baseball bat next to my front door when my FEO visited once and he never batted an eyelid. Personally id not put my cabinet there. Firstly, the radiator is in the way, Secondly, its too visible. Any guests will see it, anyone coming into the house will see it. Any burglers will spot it straight away etc... Id be looking under the stairs, or on the back wall of the bedroom - maybe inside a cupboard - or build a cupboard around it. Even up the loft at a push. Do you have a hall cupboard you can use? Anywhere which isnt visible. Each FEO is different. My o

Ive a Beretta 391, ive had it for donkeys years and its been utterly reliable. Ive put 21g upto 32g through it without any problems at all. Used it out in the fields and at one point I was putting at least 500 cartridges through it every weekend on the clays. I clean its internals twice a year - nice & easy to do, and ive only ever had 2 "jams" when it didnt cycle the 2nd cartridge correctly and they were on cheapo 28g clay cartridges. 2 jams out of thousands cant be bad. Price wise, looking at what they sell for 2nd hand now, it looks like ive lost next to nothing in depreciation on

Damn thats a shame and they only just recently moved to new premises. Maybe I wont be rushing out and buying a rapid just yet then.

12 Litre 300 Bar Bottle Refill Prices Please
jackinbox99 replied to RAMCAM's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Dive place in Northampton quoted me £4.75 for a 7litre 300bar refill. They charge more than they do for normal diving bottles. Not sure why as surely its the same air and same size. Makes me think they want to pocket some extra cash of non-divers. -
haha, this reminds me of my Uncle. He has several fields and a small holding and every time i drive by i used to see dozens of rabbits there. Id ask him about could I shoot them and he said exactly the same as your brother. That was until a couple of years back when I get this phone call from him asking can I come and shoot the rabbits. I was shocked and asked why and it turned out they had started venturing into his garden and eating all his prize roses and flowers! As well as digging up all his flower beds. hahahaha!!!!!! Needless to say I was straight around there and sure enough,

You hear of this sort of thing happening more often these days. Completely mad that someone that young can just keel over. Makes you release how short life is.

For me it would be one with out a collar, along with a bit of time spent speaking to folk that live on the said permission.. it's on my land mate. so if it dosen't have a collar then i can kill it? A lot of cat owners dont put a collar on their cat as cats a inquisitive creatures and have tendency to get into all sorts of places they shouldn't and if they have a collar on they can end up hanging themselves. So doesnt mean its not someones pet if it hasnt got a collar on it. I can see things from both sides with regards to cats. At my old house, my neighbour had 2 of them, an

You need extra deep cabinet to allow for the scope. Like the other guy said if you bought second hand you won't loose anything on it. Resell it and get a bigger one!

Ive got a combro cb-625 mk4 which I bought quite a few years back and its one of the best investments ive made. I use it all the time on both mine & my mates guns, especially after ive serviced them to make sure they are still within the correct power. Nice & easy to use and a good price.

Excellent!!! -
Yep the s410 attracts surface rust like mad. Normal gun oil on a rag is what I use.

i'll have to go and see if i can find a vid of these , the 3 shots sounds handy Plus point is the 3 shots, but bad points is that due to the action, its a long gun. Much longer than say the baikel or pedretti. Also, price wise, you can pick up one of the single barrel guns for around £200->£250 2nd hand, whereas the mossberg seems to be over £400. Id try one out and see what you think!
-
Ive the mossberg .410 hushpower pump action and its a good tool. Not as quiet as the pedretti single barrel as they have a longer mod, but not far off and I find the 3 shots are handy. Im not sure id use it in my garden as ive tall hedges and buildings, so the sound bounces off it and is quiet loud. I prefer my Air Arms PCP Air rifle for garden work. Out in the field however, the hushpower .410 is in a world of its own. Scarily quiet.

Same here, we popped in and visited the place last year when we were over in Oz. Didnt meet Bindi but all my Oz mates reckon shes the most anoying person ever.

I was in Nottingham for a stag do at the weekend, and kept having random people ask me if I was there to fight in the UFC. Must just be the way I look, lol. What I did find funny was that a lot of the pubs had the UFC showing on massive screens, which may have explained the number of fights I saw happen later on in the night out on the street. Made a lot of new icelandic friends though also! Was chattiing to a bunch of lads who had flown over from Iceland and driven up from Gatwick purely to watch their guy fight, then was off home the day after!
