  1. I used the nicorette lozenges when i gave up. The first week was hell, wanted to kill someone, but after that it was fine. Every time i wanted fag, rather than just have one, i had a lozenge and the craving went. Its all about distracting yourself from wanting a fag. Worse of course is when your down the pub with everyone who is smoking. But, if you put your mind to it, then you will be okay. I went from 20 a day to none over a few weeks without a problem. Thinking about it, i switched from fags to roll ups before i gave up. I found it was easier giving up roll ups for some reason, maybe
  2. Definately. I had a 1.5 one a few years back. I did ,000 miles in it over 2 years without any problems at all, then sold it for the same price I paid for it originally. I was getting about 56mpg out of it easily on a car which had 160k on the clock when I sold it. Cheap motoring.
  3. Have you thought about a semi automatic? I went for a beretta 391 semi for my first shotgun, for clays / pigeons etc... Ive since bought and tried o/u`s but keep going back to my semi time and time again. Im just so much better with it. Its a single barrel, so lighter than an o/u, being a semi it has hardly any recoil, I can swing it about quicker than the o/u, even though its a 30" barrel version, and i get 3 shots instead of 2. If you dont fancy a semi, then id definately go for an o/u over a sbs. Like others have said, its entirely personal preference. I would recommend though that you
  4. All depends on the area you live in really. My local firearms officer is quite laid back. Ive had my license for 12 years now and when i first got it, he just asked what i was going to shoot. I said "clays" and that was that. He has never once asked to see my gun cabinet or guns, even when i moved house or when i renewed. But, other areas are different. My dad`s local officer always checks every single gun on his cert and the cabinet.
  5. I tried some of these and they were rubbish in my air rifle compared to the .22 spitfires i normally use. Terrible.
