It was like a comedy of errors but succeeded in the end. I don't eat hares but the dog loves it ?

Seeing as the rain stopped I popped out for a look for ? I have some old rounds to use up which a guy loaded for me years ago which shoot 1 inch right to my usual 100 grainers, so thought I will knock a couple of hares over to feed the dog. 1st spot no foxes seen but shot 2 hares. 2nd spot called a fox which screamed in but couldn't see it for the shot as scope misted up ?????? well pissed off as it came in to about 40 yds. Eventually at 1.30 am called another which came under fence 20 yds to my right , on moving my sticks they fell apart ffs ?????? not my night. Anyway luckily it only went

The reason I bought my Swaros was because at the time I was doing a lot of stalking , this was 20 years ago. I must say that they are quality and I havent looked through anything as good and wouldnt be without them but wouldnt like to pay todays prices. If I just wanted a pair for general use would look at something cheaper. They have been invaluable over the years and accounted for plenty deer and foxes that would probably have evaded me.

Not bad service for a £150 set of bins . Swarovski have excellent customer service too as my bins have been back to them twice for repair with no charge.

Out last night after a fox I've seen a few times but it's very shy. Set up in my chosen spot with the gusting wind in my face . Started with hare distress which produced nothing so switched to chicken in distress which did the trick ? A fox turned up behind me with the wind blowing straight at it yet it just sat there watching and listening. Quickly got on the bipod and dispatched it at around 120 yds. Dont think it was the shy one as wouldn't have hung around but a nice bonus anyway ? It was still very light again last night even with cloud cover and the wind was very strong drowning out th

No comparison between released duck and wild duck ......released duck can often be an embarrassment , give me wild flighted duck any day ?
