Done most things in the fieldsports world but have never flighted woodcock at dusk , seen them but never when had a shotgun in hand. Must admit you are keen Mr Sausage ?

Interesting hunt last night ........ Arrived at farm at around 9.30pm and set up caller in field adjacent some scrubby woodland. Started playing hare call but no response so switched to vixen mating call ....................immediately I had a fox screaming in to the caller , stopped it around 20 yards from the caller and had a nice dog fox grassed ?? I picked up the fox and caller and was heading out of the field but when I got to the gate I had a casual look back like I always do and to my surprise there was another fox . Now this one wouldn't call and seemed content just to sit so I p

Decent lad who actually gets out there and works his dogs . As keen and dedicated as they come and puts in a lot of miles. I've appeared in a couple of them also ?

No piggies round here either , much the shame. Guidance is minimum calibre of .270 and rifled slug in a shotgun but this is just guidance I think and not law. AOLQ covers you to shoot boar also.

Yep foxes are good climbers , seen them up trees before when lamping.
