    Out yesterday afternoon for a doe , found one where I was hoping on a gorse banking. 150 yds.....bang flop. Next victim Mr squizzer ..didn't like the .243 ? Lamping , called in 2 foxes in same field , 1 in front and 1 behind but no shot ?

    Same here , out of all the people I have taken out over the years very few have matched my high standard. A lot just can't handle being out day and night or all weekend . When I used to do a lot of rabbitting in the Borders we used to ferret all day and lamp all night , couple of hours kip and at it again . Seen young lads nearly crying as couldnt hack it ,we used to sleep in the shepherds bothy either on the floor or on a bench , christ it was cold. I remember one trip to a new piece of ground , we were out all day and then lamping when it started pissing down . This was in Jan

    Same here mate , worked for 40 years and now deserve plenty me time. Mortgage free , 2 cars paid for and lots of savings in the bank. Couldnt give 2 fecks what others think , my life is great. Some poor feckers have to clean up sheep shit for a living ...pity the feckers ??

    What a lame excuse , speaks volumes. If I get invited anywhere I break my neck to get there , if you're dedicated you make time ..Simple ? I've travelled as far North as Aberdeen and as far South as Kent ...needs must. Some guys live for the sport like me and you whereas others like the idea but dont make any effort.
