    It's the time of year when you see more roe , does heavily pregnant so out feeding more . I was lamping other night on an arable farm and saw 13 just laid about. Walked to within 30 yards of them , shouting at them and they just stood and looked at me.

    Ah yes with conjunctivitis. I shot 2 Cubs once with 1 shot too , totally unintentional.

    I know exactly where you mean , think I shot a fox in that planting too. Shame to lose a cracking bit of ground, always loved it there. One door closes but more open for you ?

    Totally agree , shooting foxes with thermal and nv is far too easy but if you have a job to do that's fine. I still prefer calling with the lamp , as you say it's more exciting and rewarding.

    Too busy shooting deer and rabbits ?? All my grounds are fox free at present as do such a good job , had a look to a sheep farm last night and never saw one. Dont see any posts from you ,the useless geriatric ?

    Unfortunately there are guys in the shooting section who dont shoot but like to talk about it and dream ....embarrassing really.

    Described me to a tee ....natural born killer not a fanny that likes to dream about it. If I lived down South where quarry densities are high I'd be in my element. But being up North it's a lot more difficult. I've only known 1 guy in my life that was out as much as me up North , lived for killing rabbits and probably killed more than anyone in the country . All he lived for and never refused an outing when I phoned him , christ we put some stuff away. Nowadays I dont know anybody that is as keen as me , it's just what I do.
