    Always drop a bottle off, keeps you in the good books. Also I think it's more the thought that counts, but if someone gave me a bottle of scotch to walk on my land in the cold / wind / rain to kill vermin so I didn't have to I'd be well happy too ! Merry Christmas all

    I have no previous experience of crossing these but I have the Dam ( S.B.T. ) Sire was 3/4 whip X 1/4 Greyhound. If ever breeding surely what your trying to do is improve on what you have ? No matter what your trying to add it all depends on what you have to breed from / with. If you have the Bitch then you will have no choice but to improve her weakness's and if the Dog then maybe try to see if you can pass his abilities to his offspring ? After all you wouldn't breed from a dog that was crap would you Or would you ??

    Best way to do things gareth, see as many as you can run. Not all about the numbers they get per say, but the way they run. Do they just flat line things or play a bit clever and box things away from cover then pick them up

    Good on ya, looks like he's got a decent size in the back leg for his height along with a good length of back No matter what he's better of with you than where he was by the sounds of things

    Like I've already stated really tbh bud. Every dog has faults ( Whether you like to see it or not ) It's just if you can live with them or not. My 2 are quick enough to catch daytime rabbits but it is a good run for them, plus they're relatively short in comparison to many lurcher's My dogs are still pets, live in the house and cuddle on the sofa with the kids. I couldn't have them any other way but that's just me. That's the nice side of the Bull

    Surely whatever breeding you decide to do or take on you must always look for worst case scenario in physique and character ? In my limited experience in training Bull X's I have found they are very headstrong when they want to be and will walk all over you given any opportunity. Can be as stubborn as your Mrs when you've had a row and obviously the tenacity isn't always such a good thing. Not the most intelligent of breeds but can and will think eventually ! Not always great around other dogs and tend not to back out of any situation and also not to scared of cover. It's nice to see your dog

    If we hit 10 or more ferreting you've had a good day down here. Hence a lot of the ferreting I'm doing this season will be bolting, no nets. Try and have a seasons sport but still leave some stock for next season
