    Yep, my connector is knackered too along with the lead into it Also the car charger has been used very sparingly and is no longer usable. Has anyone bothered sending their stuff back to DEBEN ? If so what was the outcome ?

    Has anyone else had trouble with the above, also with the chargers that they come with ? I've had a major fault with mine but wondered if alone in my disappointment with what is meant to be ' The best ' ? I'm sending my equipment back and seeing what their response is. Cheers all

    Crikey oh riley, a few people having a couple of shandy's last night by the looks of things Also to the people who Pm'd me about going out with them to see that this X can't do reds. Thanks for the invite to watch dogs that can't do it but I'd rather save my time, petrol and money to watch dogs that I've seen do it, and will do it again

    So because the guy who bred more than anyone else didn't have any that could do the job means it's not possible ? Yes the breeding would / should be in the dogs but maybe they lacked something / spark / speed ? I'd like to go out with a 1st X with no Grey in it to see if there is that much difference ? One day I may find time to do so !!

    Not sure how much Grey in my 2, maybe 1/8th ? Sire 1/4 grey, Dam 100% bull. Not sure if that would make that much difference overall ?

    i wouldnt say lucky,,,its down to circumstances! how often is the dog doing it? if your bull/whip is actually catching foxes its only doing it in and around cover! and not in the open field and it would prob need a hand to finnish matters,,a good fox will out preforme a bull/whip in the open field,, good foxdogs out preforme foxes in the open field not just round obstacles that slow em down! or like you say you may just have a one off........!! any preban pics of this dog.why would you think they wouldnt catch on open fields because iv never seen one do it! and iv seen a couple day/night,

    Why would anybody breed bull into any lurcher if not with the hope of producing fox dogs. Because you can't get a 3/8x 5/8 or 3/4 without having a 1st x to get there ? I bred mine for my own reasons stated many times before, stronger than a whip, faster than a bull, very versatile and put 100% into everything they do just for starters . . . .

    Personally think brains has a lot more to do with the mix than given credit for. Just because a Bull normally has the drive, if that trait carries on into the X then the dog wants to ' scrap ' more than learn that a quick dispatch is preferable ? Take a Collie x whip or something with collie in the X for instance seem to learn 1 way or another very quickly the ' technique ' to dispatch or hold the quarry without getting hurt. Where as a Bull X doesn't seem to mind to much to tangle ? Just a thought . . .

    I've seen them run and catch things across fields and rough going terrain and also rabbits on the same ground. The ones I've seen don't catch 100% but if you aim and fire them at whatever quarry they seem to catch more than they miss

    Fair play bud, at least by the sounds of things you know what your talking about I just as many people answer a lot of other peoples threads without the knowledge to back it up

    Just a question, how many people commenting on this thread have actually been out and seen what these dogs can actually do with their own eyes ? Not just the 1 that you saw once that didn't quite perform for you, but regularly been out and have the knowledge to put your 2 pence worth in
