    Still a better half day ferreting than a full day working mate At least the cover will soon be gone and we can start our season properly.

    Rest is as important as working If you work a dog 7 days a week it has no time to rebuild damaged muscle tissue. For me road work is a brisk walk with dogs on the lead for around 5 miles or so about twice a week if not more. I personally put my dogs in a walking harness so they pull me ( not everyone's cup of T ) It keeps their claws short, feet tight and works their front end, plus gives you time ' connected ' to your dog. I'm lucky in the fact that live 5 mins from the seafront so walk there but would look for quiet roads if not. Not only is it a safer walk but also a lot quieter ! I al

    I've been thinking about this since it happened and the boy has come up with what I believe to be the answer as to why he got bit. When looking back at the situation all the other ferrets were picked up from the edge of the trampoline on the matting. The fert that bit him was picked up of the main trampoline. He reckons he could of given it a static shock ! It all seems to fit and make sense ?

    Anyone know of a free sd card recovery programme ? I've tried over 12 this morning and all find your stuff then turn out NOT to be free !

    Hermits, peelers, hard backs, squid the greedy feckers take 'em all Make sure your either sitting right next to your rod or make sure you leave your clutch loose, I've seen many rods fly off tripods and down the beach :D Even a 5/6lber will test your gear bud. Make sure of at least 25 / 30lb leader and also that you know how to tie them. If they come on the feed and you have a couple they'll wear a leader in no time, I've had fish roll on a 25lb leader and snap it like cotton before where I was too busy trying to get a bait back out in the water and not checking my gear !!     Ron Thompson gear is good value mate. Tbh whatever you choose will do untill you can upgrade. Or is it worth waiting that little bit more and getting decent stuff straight off ? Tight lines, Blackstaff
