  9. Totally agree Tomo..I live in an area where the southern softies say the rabbits are easy..over 10 years ago I wrote an article in the CW inviting readers to get in touch through the editor if they wanted to have a night out with us..we had 8 nights out with lads from different parts of the country, best on dog did was a lad from Sunderland who got into the 20`s and the worst was a really nice gut with a whippet cross who got 1 rabbit on the night, stopped his dog chasing and called us mad for running the dogs where we did..I could never class my area as easy land to work, Ive seen too many dog

  17. Cook the hare (Beddy cross owners can use a rabbit, saluki owners try and get a hare that dosnt come from the fens, hares from other places are usually fitter and the meat therefore better, bull x lads can use fox meat if they can stomach it) take all the meat off and cut it up into decent sized pieces. Boild a pan of potatoes and a pan of partly cooked onions,,mix meat, pots and onions all together, take a good handful and form it into round round pattys, cover them with breadcrumbs. There you have them, Ashington Hare Pattys..Heat them later in a shallow frying pan till their hot right th
