  1. Not sure sinda, not aufait with canon, I only have proper cameras...ha, ha...but, probably not, as this setting dosnt have the same effect on my D300, which has a different sub menu in the white balance set up, I do however put the WB on my D300 to cloudy with decent results..the auto white balance on the D300 is better than the D200..
  2. Centre weighted and spot focussing are to be worked up to, get it set on matrix metering to start off with..this metering system on the D200 is usually great for many situations
  3. The D200 is 10mp, and a very good digital camera, Ive used one for a long time..heres a tip I got off a semi-pro..http://www.reverseimage.co.uk/set the white balance to Cloudy, and give it a -1 value, leave it there for the bulk of your work..it will give your pics similar effect as a warming filter, and the camera just loves this setting An image using the D200
  4. Plenty of them about, and great practice for flying shots.
  5. This is a good point, its one of the important things for me when I choose a camera, as I am totally wildlife, I have two cameras at the moment, and both have the capability of 8 fps..mind you, Ive had camera with less and got some decent shots..
  6. There are more and more spoonbills coming to my part of the country every year at certain times, also into Scotland, its getting easier to see them, and to photograph them.. Got this one last season..
  7. Totally agree, I used elements 5 right up till this year, changed to CS4 just quite recently Your photo editing software is possibly the most important piece of kit you will have, so choose it wisely, as its already been said, if your only doing basic editing for the computer, there are many that will do, if your doing more, competition photos etc, you may need a little more
