  1. I was wondering the same thing. I keep my guns locked together with a 'U' lock through the trigger guards. If you screwed a rawlbolt "eye" in to the wall and then passed the 'u' lock through the eye or ring of the bold that would comply with the law. John Thanks for that, I'll get that done

  3. Thanks for the replys, lads. There's no fault with the gun, it's just a really odd illustration as to how airguns can be fussy about ammo 'cos for whatever reason, it's clearly more than just a barrel issue in this case. The barrel shoots differently when it's changed from my gun to his. Wierd....
  4. I'll drink to that!!!! I'll drink to anything....
  5. I've got mine, my .20 HW90. I love my old Diana 52 but if I found a nice 54, I may be tempted.... Edit.... I'll play nicely now
  6. Hi, mate. Theoben's after sales service can be a bit crap so don't hold your breath waiting for a reply.... Are you sure the seals havn't just gone dry? A little smear of pure silicon grease on them may solve your problem. Or try getting in touch with these guys, they make the rams for Theoben.http://awt-silencers.co.uk/ Cheers.
  7. It's like when Dyson shut down production of their vacs in the UK and moved it overseas and when Warfdale did the same with all their gear and the fact that even most 'British' guns are now made in either Spain or Turkey... The list goes on and on....
  8. Thanks Shay and Ste. The power's been set to a little over 11 which was as it was on my own 90. I have a Chrony and access to a pump to set it up. The gun is now grouping very well with the AAs and also with Loguns 9.5 grains. It's just odd that when that barrel was fitted to my gun, it didn't like either of those but loved the Mags/Barras.... Edit... No Shay, the barrel's not been altered in any way, the only change's are the action and the mod....
  9. Hi, Shay. When we changed to the smaller caliber the gun was down on power as expected so we had to put a little more pressure in the ram to compensate. The only other thing that's changed is the mod so I'm wondering if there's some wierd harmonics thing going on. I've never had anything like this before Cheers.
  10. Hi folks. Right then, this is an odd one...... A few months ago, my mate Paul who I shoot with sometimes gave me back my old Lightning he'd been useing after he'd bought himself an HW90 in .22. He wanted a .177 and as it happened, I'd still got the .177 barrel from my own 90 before I fitted a .20 barrel a couple of years back. It was a pellet fussy little sod when I had it and out of the few pellets it grouped very well with were H and N Baracuds or Bisley Mags (same things...). Anyway, I gave him what was left of the tin of Baracuds I'd been useing before I swapped barrels for hi
  11. Yup, I'd agree with that, Fry It is a case of each to their own but one point I will make is because a lot of the less expensive guns are owned by folks who are often new to the sport, they are the guns they've also shot their first bunny or whatever with so of course they're good enough for hunting. I can still remember the first rabbit I shot when I was about twelve and the excitement I had at the time. The gun was a Milbro G80 with open sights at probably no more than 15 yards. It was the best gun in the whole wide world to me at the time Within a few short years I'd moved on to m
  12. The 99's a nice light rifle, Ross and the 95's not much more. See if you can handle them and see what you think, they really are much better guns, mate
  13. i know a few people that have split up because of that website It was a factor in my last break up, my ex became obsessed with the bloody thing. I use it but mainly to promote my business, as has been said it's free advertising. I read somewhere recently the FBooks mentioned in 1 in 6 divorce casses
  14. They're not too good, Furgle.... The trigger's are crap, the build quality's poor (Spanish built by Gamo..), the scope rail's an odd size, they twang and rattle badly, high recoil, the moderator BSA fit hardly makes any difference, bits come lose all the time 'cos of the vibes, they're not really what anyone could call a quality product.... Have a look at the HW99 and 95, they knock the Gamo, er, I mean Lightning into a cocked hat on all counts. Cheers
  15. 'Brewmeister'...... Yup. I think that's probably a fair cop!! Edit.... Just ask Davy....
  16. Hi, mate and welcome If you want a good strong no frills scope for not a lot of cash have a look at the Leapers 2-7x32 from JS Ramsbottom. I have one and it's a lovely little scope for the price and it's specifically made for springers with a higher recoil like the Sirocco. Good luck!! Cheers.
  17. Ya bugga!!! I'm never going to live that one down, am I.....???? At least you got to use them as targets 'cos to be honest, that's all they were good for!!
  18. 'Kin 'ell, Davy, you've got more patience than me, mate You've put some effort in there, if it comes up anything like the other one you did, it'll be a little cracker I think there's probably quite a few of us with fond memmories of Meteors from way back when..... Sniff..... Cheers.
  19. Nice one, Shay A keeper mate of mine uses a silenced Baikal 410, useful bit of kit, mate. Cheers.
  20. To be fair, when we were doing the pure accuracy testing at the end of the day, I was useing the car for added support. We were trying to see what the guns were able to do rather than testing our own abilities so a little extra help was needed by me. Simon was shooting those groups prone with nothing more than his bag for support. Cheers.
  21. All the gear, no idea.... 'I'm wit syndicate, innit...' Josh shot very well indeed with your 77, Simon. How's about getting him that 95 from his mate? Sounds like a good price assuming it's not a total dog.... Mate, it was a pleasure today. We've a fair bit in common apart from shooting and I always value friendship 'Til next time..........
