    I don't really think it matters too much if they're boys or girls. The lad I shoot with has a little girl who's 5 and she's cool with it all but then she has grown up with the idea. If your girls know and understand what you do, I don't really see it as being too much of a problem, mate. The only way you'll know is to give it a go. Hawks are great, we've some falceners that come to the estate where I help out, even some semi antis are thrown by them.

    ASAP, mate. As soon as they're exposed to it, they'll just see as the normal behaviour it should be. I don't hunt with dogs, I'm a shooter but since my lads have been small, they're used to seeing daddy come home with dead rabbits or whatever and are used to seeing things being skinned and plucked. They're now 12 and 9 and have been comming out with me for the last couple of years and they love it. Knocks the crap out of an X Box!!!!!

    From what you've described, Brad, your scope's fecked. If as you say, you've gone through it's full range of vertical adjustment and the POI hasn't changed then it's a fault with your scope, your gun may well have not been at it's 'sweet spot' but that doesn't explain the problem as you've described. As the lads have said though, if it's been laid up unused for quite a while, a new set of seals won't hurt but if the problem's as you've described your main problem's the optics. Cheers.

    This isn't criminal justice but it's an example of how inconsistant the courts can be..... Years back me and my then girlfriend were riding back to Leeds along the M1, she was folowing me on her own bike. The traffic was light and we were in a hurry to get back. To cut a long story short, we both got cought for speeding and were both done for the same speed, 106mph. I was seen by Wetherby magistates and was banned for 14 days, 3 points and £120 fine. She was seen by the wigs in Leeds and was banned for 3 months, 6 points and a £600!!!!! fine for exactly the same offence.

    Hawke have pretty good after sale service so it may well be worth getting in touch with them. If the scope's otherwise in A1 confition, you've every chance they'll either replace it or at least fix it for free. Got to be worth a call?? Cheers.

    It's gash of the highest order for the shop to let a gun go out like that, they've clearly not checked the gun over never mind tested it You've every right to ask for a re-fund as it's not fit for purpuse and I'd think twice before buying a gun from them again if they're that slack.....
