    I may not be 100% correct with this but as I understand it the public over there can own AKs and the like so long as they're converted to semi auto only and the issue with China is something to do with the Yanks only allowing certain trade with them which for whatever reason, this fella was outside their laws.

    One other tecnique is to deliberatly but very slowly move the cross hair across the target then squeeze the trigger once it's in the right place. That way instead of trying to hold the gun totally still, which no one can really do when standing, it's a slow controled movement but you've got to be 100% used to your gun's trigger release for this to work. That's one of the reasons a good trigger set up is so important This technique doesn't work for everyone and like any other it takes practice but it works OK for me. Cheers.

I can understand why they need to do what they do and I've got a huge amount of respect for their customs and the respect they have for the animals and the land but how the feck did that bloke land that job???     They were on the vermin list in Wales up until the issue of this years WGL, now they're off it again. No shortage of numbers round here, I see literally thousands & thousands of them on a daily basis. Maybe the protection is a good thing if they are genuinely in decline, but they are still a major pest in areas where they are in vast numbers. The cynic in me thinks the protection is all about seeing the huge flocks doing their display for the benefit of twitchers, & not maintaining a stable, viable population.. Can we blame it on Bill Oddy then, Malt?

    The daft thing is, is the only US law he's broken is that the mags were made in China who the Yanks won't deal with. He faked the paper work so that they looked as though they'd been made in Europe to try to get round it. Silly fella Edit to add... I did read that on the Daily Mail's web site so it may well be total bolrocks....

    The thing about .20 is because it's a relatively rare caliber only the better manufacturers bother with it so you're not really going to find many bad pellets, it's just what suits your own gun the best. For what it's worth, my .20 HW90 shoots best with Dynamic SPC5s and H and N Baracudas. It also shoots very well with the Logun-Exterminator-Defiant-whateverthey'recalledthisweek too.     Hi, mate. As has been said, if you want to keep it and the internals are OK then those old German guns will keep on shooting just fine if it's kept serviced The bunnies won't give a toss about the cosmetics of your rifle... I've an old Diana52 that looks like it's lived most of it's life kicking around on the floor of a Landy but it shoots perfectly and it must be at least 20 years old now. Your 77 shouldn't be painted or plastic coated though that must be something that a previous owner's done for whatever reason, all HW guns leave the factory chemicaly blued. Cheers.

    What an absolute feckin' disgrace Some random comes into the country and gets given a feckin' car, house, feckin' money, feckin' school for their kids that as often as not can't even speak feckin' English, health care etc, etc, etc..........     Used to visit Rock city every weekend as a youngster..... I had my stag night there 11 years ago, beats the crap out of any rock clubs we have in Leeds. Newcastle Mayfair's a good club too Fantastic night, shame about the wedding though....
