Well picked this little guy up yesterday from my mentor / uncle lovely little hob from tiny blacked eyed whites he's had for years and they have always been booked before there born but this year I managed to get one should be a right little worker and small so perfect for one handed ferreting lol

  8. We always need a good ferret buddy lol I got a new hob ferret this year to try out im going to collect him this week from my mentor so now that me done 2 jills and the new hob :) Will post some pics soon as he's here

  11. Nice mate well my girls moult started fine but due to new noisy neighbours I wont be surprised if shes showing a few threat marks on her feathers but nothing serious so

I Put a post up before on the iff of my old male harris hooded and people was ripping me left right and centre and I just laughed as my mentor/uncle who is 62 always said to me ''Is there a reason not to hood a bird unless its became hood shy from a s*** falconer'' I will hood all my birds I think as I have no reason not too. Good luck with her mate she has amazing looking feet and good anklets to match Keep the pictures coming I do like reading a good diary thread lol Atvb Ross
  13. Well it wont be long now for most people and the seasons training shall begin Whats everyone flying this season also what quarry will it be flown at ?? Cant forget pictures lads lol I will be flying a female harris this season with the intended quarry of you guessed it rabbits and maybe a hare or two if she is brave enough lol Here's Fidgit just before the moult I cant wait to see her with a new set of feathers especially from juvi to adult plumage. Last seasons flying weights was starting at about 2lb 5 and I will see what I can up that too once shes fit and hunting
